Ill just make this long story short, last tues may bumuhos ng thinner sa everest ko and I believe yung mga tambay sa amin ang gumawa, they were painting their court at that time, which happens to be na tapat ng garage namin.tuklap pintura sa fender, bumper and part of the hood.Sad to say walang aamin sa ganong incident and wala ring gusto magturo. Pinatawag ko yung barangay chairman and had the court removed para hindi na maka perwisyo mga tambay dun. Matagal ko narin kasi gusto ipatanggal yan dahil perwisyo talaga, not to mention delikado rin dahil mga nanonood ng basketball nakatambay sa gate namin. kanina lang nag sign sila ng petition with the endorsement of the sk chairman naman to put the court back. Kung hindi daw aaksyunan ng barangay chairman(who gave his word to me) ay iaakyat nila sa higher ewan.wala kasing ibang homeowner stupid enough to let them transfer their court to.Does installing a basketball court in the middle of a street legal ba?or i can contest this?

that would be a nice proposition, kung hindi lang kasalanan pumatay hehehe. the nerve of those people. to think sila na naka perwisyo sila pa matapang. ang road kasi namin dead end sa dulo and puro squatters dun sa dead end, yung mga naglalaro ng basketball taga dun and minsan may mga dayo. dun ko nga pinapalagay sa dulo sa may dead end kaso umaaangal naman homeowner dun. matagal na kasi itong court dito may 10 years narin siguro. our safety is always compromised kasi sa dami ng tambay na nanonood at naglalaro sa gate pa namin naka kumpol. marami rin may galit sa akin kasi madalas din matamaan sasakyan ko ng bola and I always say a piece of my mind. tuwing papasok ako sa garage ako pa lumalabas na istorbo

Bwisit nga iyang court sa daan. Sa Sampaloc ang dami niyan. Eh may friend ako sa area (sa Fajardo St. malapit sa Maceda bandang Balic balic ata ito), after school dumadaan ako sa kanila. Pinilit namin pagkasyahin sa 1 car garage yung dalawang sasakyan namin para maging safe dun sa mga taong ginagawang playground ang kalye.

Ang malala pa, nung nagpa-liga, sinara yung kalye! Walangya, sarili niyang garahe hindi niya maparadahan. Hayop talaga.

sampaloc area ako hehehe. ganun nga talaga, pag may liga hintayin mo muna may mag time out bago ka makapasok sa garage mo. yung binuhos nga na thinner it happened in a matter of a few minutes lang. nilabas kasi ng driver yung everest ko sa garage kasi nasa bungad and may gagamitin na kotse sa harapan. pagkaatras naman niya inilabas din yung isang car agad at nung ipapark na uli sasakyan ko may tama na. palagi naman nangyayari itong paglabas pasok ng sasakyan kasi one lane lang garage namin pero 3 cars sa loob. nung last tues lang natsambahan kasi nagpipintura sila ng court at that time, marami rin naman ibang cars naka park that time pero sa akin lang tinira baka resbak siguro. Ngayon may reason nako patanggal yang court kaso pilit nilang binabalik. naiipit din chairman syempre election na at baka maapektohan boto niya. taga squatters din pala yung chairman

AFAIK at sabi ng batas, ang kalsada ay para sa sasakyan katulad ng sidewalk na para sa mga tao. Kahit ung mga birthday, kasalan, debut at lamay ng patay na ginagawa sa kalsada or kalahating side ng kalsada ay bawal.

THE NATION'S most beloved sport has no place in Metro Manila streets.

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chair Bayani Fernando said Thursday that he has instructed MMDA personnel to remove basketball courts constructed on roads and sidewalks.

"The roads were not intended to be playgrounds," Fernando said in a phone interview. "They were meant to be used by motorists, not basketball players."

He said that it was not right to close the roads just to accommodate people who want to play basketball.

He explained that when traffic builds up on main thoroughfares, motorists are left with few or no alternative routes because obstructions, like basketball courts, have been put up in the middle of streets.

The MMDA chair added that he would have the "hardheaded ones" arrested and jailed if they would persist on taking over the streets.

Fernando said that sport enthusiasts should find more appropriate places to play basketball, like gyms or designated covered courts.

"If they really want to play basketball and still insist on doing it on the roads and sidewalks, I'm now telling them that it's time to look for another sport," he warned.

DPWH REMOVES ROAD ENCROACHMENTS

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr. directed the periodic checking of national roads to prevent encroachment or illegal obstructions. Ebdane said that all DPWH Regional and District Engineering Offices are ordered to monitor respective jurisdictions against obstruction in highways including bridges, culverts and drainage canals. Earlier, President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo jointly tasked the DPWH and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to facilitate removal of obstruction more particularly along waterways. Obstruction along esteros and waterways which includes presence of informal dwellers or squatters including underneath bridges contribute to the flooding problem particularly in the Metropolis. Illegally constructed structure within the road right-of-way of national roads not only constraint and cause traffic congestion but also pose grave danger to the traveling public. Ebdane said that it is imperative that provision of the law on prohibiting encroachments/usurpations of any portion of right-of-way be strictly implemented and enforced. We have to prevent conversion of public highway and infrastructure for own private use, Ebdane added. The DPWH Chief said that written notice will be given to the owner of illegal structure for them to remove or demolish. Corresponding complaints will be filed on the court to persons who fail or refuse to vacate or demolish illegally constructed structures.

i think kailangan din ng permits sa local govt. kung magtatayo ng court sa daan. hindi lang sa barangay, unless private subdivision iyan inyo.
