Di ko naintindihan ang buong kwento kung sino may kakilala kay mechanic kung si buyer or si owner... pero eto na lang si mechanic wala dapat commission, professional fee lang dapat ibigay sa kanya sa paginspect at pagbigay ng findings nya sa 2nd hand na kotse.

Okay so yung friend ko nag pa ads ng kotse. May buyer na nag respond at possibly interested. Sabi ng buyer sa friend ko i-papa check niya sa mechanic niya. Sabi ng friend ko the seller, "okay."
Ngayon dumating ang mechanic to inspect. Wala kasi ang buyer dahil busy ata. Binulong ng mechanic sa friend ko ang implied "cut" na implied could help appraisal. Di man lang ang mechanic ang nagdala ng buyer kaya di agent fee diba? Kasi public ads at buyer contacted seller directly.
Addition din pala. Sabi ng friend ko na lait pa ng mechanic yung isang kotse niya sa garahe. Sabi kailangan ayusin din sa shop nila. Salestalk kaya? Eh mejo na turn off na ang friend ko sa ugali ng tao. Nan lait pa at ganun.

dapat pinachecheck sa shop or mechanic na hindi kakilala ng both parties. at dapat, walang alam ang shop or mechanic na pinapacheck ito para maibenta para sure na hindi mang aabuso ang shop or mechanic in that case.

If your friend agrees to pay him then the mechanic will give a positive feedback to the buyer to ensure that the sale pushes through, otherwise, the mechanic will just simply give negative feedback to discourage the buyer on closing the transaction. Probably most of the posters here are right, go find another buyer. Another option is to discretely to tell the buyer what his mechanic was proposing.

Hindi lang pala sa kotse madiskarte yung mekaniko, pati rin sa buhay. Marunong din manlait. Isumbong mo sa buyer. Pero duda ko, baka magkasabwat sila. Baka pag pinaayos mo sa shop nung mekaniko, hindi na nila bilhin yung kotse. Kung ano-ano na lang ang ira-rason...

August 13th, 2007 12:36 PM #20Yun nga ang sabi ko sa friend ko. Mahirap na ang nangyari sa kanya at baka pati siya sumabit in the process. Sabihin ko rin ang suggestion niyo na sa ibang buyer na lang siya dahil mejo "tainted" na ang transaction. Baka din yung buyer si maniwala sa kanya kung na kwento niya ang nangyari.
as above, if you want to go OEM-style, get a "spare tyre lock". but i use an ordinary cheap...
