went with my mother and other relatives to a birthday party at Jollibee in Pres. Avenue this afternoon. on the way home, a man who appeared to be crazy threw a rock at my ride. i did not see him immediately and it was too late to do anything else.

we stopped after a few blocks to check damage. the rock was slightly bigger than the size of a baseball and luckily it hit the left lower part of the rear door. after seeing the damage we went to the police station to report the incident. they went to the area but did not find him there.

i'm just thankful no one was hurt, i even had my nephew/godchild inside and my mother. had it been a different thing, di ko alam nagawa ko dun sa mama ...

i'm just charging it to experience and still thank God we're alright. however, i can't stop thinking it might have been a staged thing. i read an email before about goons hitting cars with objects along Pres. Avenue, as carnap pre-work. the guy who hit us with the rock looked angry at something or was saying profane words to someone. then there were several bystanders who did nothing - it was just 5:45pm and it was not dark yet.

ingat na lang po kayo, mga tsikoteers.

Good to know you are ok. Re damage to your car, a good PDR should do the job if its on the bottom portion of your door. Ride safe

Just in case, try to dial 117 on your cellphone kagad and tell the dispatch the incident and your location. They may send a patrol car to you. Di ko lang alam kung gaano kabilis ang response di ko pa kse na-try in an actual incident; pero that is supposedly how Dial 117 works, ayun sa pulis.

Kunan mo na rin ng cellphone picture lalo na kapag lumalapit sayo.... can be used as reference ng mga pulis kung sakaling suyurin nila yung area.

The most cost efficient PDR that I have tried is in Buendia Auto Center, they only charge P200-250 per dent, you may look for Rovic his mobile is 09193415065.

    Sorry for the OT

pag may ganyang nangyari, di natin alam kung dapat i-confront or just "walk away".

bro, try mo sa Misubishi motors along Pasong Tamo. P150 lang yata per dent. (not so sure though)...

nemo's friend: glad you and your family are all right, minsan di talaga maiwasan ang mga ganyang klaseng tao. BTW before doing anything check the damaged part of your car and see if the paint is chipped or scratched, if its not chipped have it PDRed its way cheaper than panel repainting and have it detailed. If its scratched down to the primer I'm afraid you'll have to have it repainted which should cost around 2-3K on average. HTH.

hmmmm. saw this thread just now. last saturday, i was riding my bike there at aguirre going to my tita's house sa may president's avenue. suddenly, from my right side, may nakita ako na parang taong grasa din na babatuhin ako. muntik na akong sumemplang dun. hinintuan ko sya, pero nagtatatakbo.

tsk tsk. nde mo alam kung maaasar ka o maiinis dun sa nangbato..baka nga "koo-koo".
Share ko lang kase had an "almost" same experience last week at manggahan area pasig. We were on our way to Medical City around 7pm, may tao sa gitna ng road, he was facing the other side, so nde namen alam kung tatawid lang sha at sadyang napahinto lang sa gitna ng lane namen. we stopped, but he did not move then very slowly he turned to us. He had this menacing look on his face tapos we noticed na lang na he was carrying 2 rocks in both his hands. amp. natakot ako baka batuhin sa windshield or anything. siguro mga 2 minutes nagtititigan kme tapos ngumiti (mala chesire cat amp!) yung lalake tapos tumabi na. Scary people!

Based on several postings here, mukhang iisang taong "koo-koo" yung tinutukoy nyo sa Aguirre Paranaque.
