    update:

After consulting my lawyer, she gave me all the possibilites that would happen regarding my case:
    a. That the jologs motorcycle driver might make file case against me that would add to my record in NBI and go on with the case.
    b. Size up the driver if he could pay me regarding the damages done on my car. If he couldn't, pay him an x amount so that it would stop from there and issue a letter, signed by him and a witness releasing me from any judicial/financial/physical/psychological responsibility from him and stating that the money is just a goodwill and I do not admit that I was at fault. Will tell him "wala na akong panahon para um-attend ng mga court hearing. pareho tayong busy at may trabaho't naaagrabyado, etc etc etc".

I opted for letter b. Why not a? Well, I am New Zealand-bound. I do not want to incur bad record in my NBI record. As a would-be migrant, one needs to submit an NBI clearance to the embassy.

You know what guys? I saw the cost estimate of his motorcycle's damage. It amounted to 7 thousand plus. From there, I told him I was willing to pay him 4 thou. Tapos, he lost also an opportunity to drive someone to Tagaytay for a fee. etc etc.

Ayon, nag-isip agad. Habang nag-iisip siya, I was preparing the letter mentioned in letter b.

Isip pa rin. Ang ginawa ko, iniwan ko yung letter sa harapan niya together with my ballpen. Ayon isip pa rin. Hanggang sa kumagat.

The investigator lessened our 1,500 penalty into half na lang.

    That closes the case.

What I forgot to get from the police station was the receipt representing the amount of P750 I paid. Bad trip!!!

Moral lesson para akin. Once you encounter a vehicular accident, mag-areglo agad right at that moment. Wag nang paabot sa ibang offices. Philippines ito. Matagal ang labanan. Though, I read a nice line:

Someone who lost 4,000 pesos for a jologs motorcycle driver,

    Mazda 323

Polls: Who wants to know the jologs motorcyle driver? I could mention it here if the administrator would allow me.

And please!!!! For those at the Fort who patronize drivers like him!!!!! Stop it.!!!!! Delikado ang buhay ninyo!!!!
