Hayop talaga ang mga malls na yan mantakin mo you already paid for the parking space tapos pagninakawan ka di pa nila kasalan, sa SM North nga naka-park na sa malapit sa booth and security ninakawan na tapos nireklamo sa security pinagtawanan pa.

haaay, kaya minsan nagdadalawang isip ako kung magccommute na lang ako papunta megamall e. dami na kasi cases diyan. minsan may advantage din ang pagiging dark tint e. d nila makikita sa loob kung ano mga gamit mo doon... nawalan ka na nga ng gamit pagtatawanan ka pa at magbabayad ka pa... wat a layp!

well..our fellow tsikoteer's son lost his dad's pajero in the megamall parking..
so be extra careful.

Parking lot's have signages that say they will not be liable for any lost valuables but it is covered in their Comprehensive General Liability Insurance. The insured (owner of the lot) is required in the insurance contract to display that message so that owners will not be careless with their belongings.

Thus if you have lost anything of significant value, ask your non-life insurer for advice on how to claim indemnity for your loss.

well my bag got stolen inside our L300 van parked in MC home depot in Ortigas ... bad trip sobra my passport was there together with mu US visa and other valuable documents.

My Tito also lost his Pajero in the Megamall lot before... some years back.

Yun ang sad thing about Pinas, eh medyo mataas ang crime rate, agawan ng celfone, at bukas kotse etc. We cant blame SM for that, eh magagaling yung mga magnanakaw so kahit may security guards eh malulusutan nila yan. Your alarm is not a gurantee, medyo challenging pa yan sa mga thieves, that's their psychology...mas mahirap eh mas masarap, it seems na may satisfaction sila by just doing that. So the responsibility of taking care of our things goes with the owner, and not SM or your alarm system (it's only there to make it difficult for the thief). To feel safe and confident,
1. dont leave valuable things inside your car
2. if you cant avoid it, lagay mo sa loob ng glove compartment ,isusi mo...or sa rear compartment mo na hindi siya makita, saka rarely nagbubukas ang bukas kotse from behind, mas nabubuksan nila yung doors and windows.
3. Always carry the parking ticket with you, at least you will have a remembrance kapag nawala yung kotse ninyo
4. Mag MTR na lang kayo and dont bring your car.

In fairness sa SM (sabi ng iba eh swapang si Henry Sy kase naniningil sa parking pero di naman safe)...eh even in other countries, lahat ng Malls eh paid parking. Mas mahal pa nga. Sa SM eh P20 irregardless kung gano ka katagal. Sa streets naman na paid parking (local government managed) eh ganun din, sa ibang bansa eh meron din nun (Parking Meter nga lang). And those parkings are there for your convenience, kaya ka dun nag park kahit may bayad. And it does not cover any security measures, wala sa bayad yun.

Sa Makati nga, sa mga gimikan or saan man lugar na walang park area, di ba sinasalampak na lang natin ang kotse natin kahit sa bangketa, nirarampa kung saan saan...and then bibigyan mo ng TIP yung mga boy or bantay kotse mo ng ten pesos or five pesos, eh mas alam natin na walang security yun di ba? Mga rugby boys yun iba dun...eh inaabutan natin ng barya??!! Minsan eh look out pa yun sa mga bukas kotse
