Suddenly, this group of three showed up with a balde and a basahan that looks like SCOTCH BRITE. Then tinuro nila ung benz, at nilapitan ng patakbo, and ultimately nilinis ang windshield ng poor benzie using a SCOTCH BRITE...

That's where the fun starts. The Benz suddenly backed-off then drove through one of the guys in his right front side, as in hinataw nya.

I really wanted to say thank you to him/her in behalf of the motorists that passes by that area, if I had the chance.

P.S.: I'm not trying to say that what he did was good, but if this event stops those idiots from doing it again(hopefully), then the end justifies the means.
It's so nice to know that there's someone teaching those low life cockroaches a lesson.

While the windshield gangs are infuriating, there is no law stating that it is illegal to clean a vehicle without permission.

There is a law, however, against brandishing a firearm in public and pointing it at people... and a law against running people over.

Kung soapy windshield lang ang problema at tinutukan na ng baril, paano kung na-cut-off mo yung gagong yan?

Think about it, people. Assholes like that are the reason poor people hate us car-owners.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

^ Yeah, it's wrong to point a gun but reading about someone doing what a lot of us devilishly give thought about whenever we're harassed by those hardened street thugs (or dangerously cut off by a bus running at high speed on EDSA)... its simply hard to wipe that grin off. :D

And being fresh from seeing kids stealing from a taxi in front of me in EDSA traffic recently, it just seems to be karma working at those who are becoming very brazen in harassing citizens. Maybe the Benz guy will get his dessert just as well? We'll never know. Possibly politico yan or "connected" businessman. Maybe we can check with CATS Motors for an E Class needing some detailing from scratches.

It was quite clear, but this is a forum with all sorts of people and there are others who fell in line, some more than once. Where's the Sarcasmgasm guy? Free seminar?

I'm back on the fence about the incident just because of Mr. 60wpm.

Certainly practical points, niky. But I probably would have done the same as the Merc if I see a Scotch-Brite being pointed at my car. I believe this is the reason on why people cheer for the Merc - they're THAT frustrated. It's much like a scenario where you encounter a person everyday would "offer" to clean my lawn or else he'll vandalize my surrounding perimeter. By all means, this is extortion - which is defined by law as "committed by obtaining property (or cash) from another without his consent, induced by wrongful use of fear." and if they ditch their "unwanted services", they in-turn are termed as "medicants" wherein the giving of alms is actually a criminal liability (the anti-beggars law).

So from my perspective, they're already breaking the law just trying to ply the streets. So I'll just stick to one phrase: "Don't bother me and I won't bother you". I won't care if the poor thinks poorly of the rich, personally I think that's being an ingrate. Who's paying taxes? We are. People are supposed to fend off for themselves, I don't advocate socialism. As Roosevelt has said, "capitalism is unequal divided riches but socialism is equally divided poverty".

I got the same treatment and I was so irritated I was wondering why there are no cops around to stop this kind of attack on motorists. Now I realized that you can literally shoot these assholes without getting caught!

Ah...kaya pala medyo mabait sila kanina. Humingi pa ng permission. Well, binusinahan ko na lng.
Nakita ko rin last time.

Buti na lng umuulan, nawala yun sabon after awhile. Hay!

clearly the wash boys are wrong in this and the benz driver only made a self defense in his/her part...

its like the modus on a bus called "zesto gang" wherein a vendor would open a zesto (put straw) and force the victim to buy his overpriced zesto...

the benz or any other car victim did not ask for the wash boy service yet after they are done then ask for money and if you dont give u get the feeling that they will inflict damage on your car...

this must be escalated to LTO/MMDA for the apprehension of this notorious wash boys!!!
