September 7th, 2007 05:48 PM #12by the way san ba dapat ibawas yun e-vat? sa PF ba or sa nagbabayad?

September 7th, 2007 06:15 PM #13Yep. According to that doctor friend of mine, he does issue receipts - only when his patients ask. I kinda chided him about that EVAT thing. He said that he won't mind paying the EVAT if the government would use taxes correctly.
Dapat, mag-sampol din ang BIR sa mga doktor na hindi nag-iissue ng OR to compel them to follow the law

Sa PF.
But if they're really calculating it based on the PF without E-VAT, then would you turn them in?
A lot of doctors don't like issuing receipts. But some of these doctors also waive PFs for some patients or check-ups. Kinda feel bad about ratting on them...

September 8th, 2007 10:46 AM #15Nung humingi kami ng OR para sa PF ng OB ni missis, sabi ng secretary we have to pay for the E-VAT. So sa 18k na PF nya, kelangan namin magbayad pa ng 2k++ more just to get an OR
buti pala yung mga drs. namin kahit consultation fee lang may OR with evat charges but not borned by us

it's so unfair! Im paying almost a 5-digit tax tapos yung kapwa natin hidi pa tama magbayad?!?!?!

September 9th, 2007 07:27 AM #18yup, common practice n tlga yun ng local medical professionals. based on trust ang trade nila kya minsan handshake lng ok na. pro most of the time estimate n lng kng mgkano kinita nila per day sa dami ng minimeet nilang patients. kya kng hindi n hingi ng receipt, they don't bother to give it out kse dadag trabaho din s knila. ok lng cguro kng private practice at trusted nyo yng professional, pro pg mga hospitals, ibng usapan n yun. you might want to reconsider going to that hospital kng gnun practice nila. bka mamya ngchacharge n pls cla ng kng ano ano tpos they hide it sa bill.
