Hit & RUN Montero NQK-890

Hi tsikoteers,

I would like your help regarding my case. Just this morning, I was informed by the guard on duty that he witnessed my car was bumped by this 2010 Mitsubishi Montero NQK-890 at 4:30AM. One of the employees of the bar near my place saw this as well. They tried to stop the drunk lady driver but she just kept on going. What should I do? I have compre insurance for my car but I would like some justice. Any advice where I should start? Damage is disaligned, scraped and cracked bumper, disaligned/scraped fender and "umangat" na hood. My car is 2008 mazda3.

Wow, bago pa yung monty ah. You have two witnesses sir malakas yung case mo nyan, file a report at habulin mo yung may-ari nun. Hope you remembered to take pics and gather evidence as much as you can. Kahit may compre insurance ka pa, don't claim for "own damage".

Edit: I tried registering at monterosportclubphil but kelangan pa pala ng moderator's approval before I can post hehe. Nagbabakasakali may nakakakilala dun sa owner ng car.

Yes sir, dapat may police blotter ka since eto yung hinahanap ng insurance pag mag claim ka na. Buti na lang yung sa akin, yung insurance ko mismo ang pinahabol ko sa bumangga kaya walang sakit ng ulo. Why not post on the monty forum dito? baka may maka kilala ng owner dun.

Your insurance company can be the one to go after the Montero. Just get a police report.

^^Sir PareKoy, i already created a thread at MSCP forum regarding your thread here at tsikot. Maybe we can help you out with it. But i'm not sure if the unit is a member. But we'll see. I hope that can be resolved the sooner. Mahirap yan kase abala na, gastos pa kung hindi matunton ang culprit..

OT:

out of my curiosity, how did the guard know that the Monterosport is 2010 model? Tiningnan ang sticker dahil 2010, 2011, 2012 ang nakalagay or what?

Update: Hindi ako nakapunta ng traffic bureau last saturday. Pero dahil sabi nung police officer, 24/7 naman sila open and anytime pwede ko pick-up, naisipan ko pumunta nung sunday na lang para iwas traffic na rin. Andun na ako around 8am in the morning. Ang hindi nasabi sa akin ng police officer eh yung in charge ng releasing eh mon-sat 8AM-5PM lang pala ang pasok Balikan ko na lang mamayang hapon.
