Hit & run lancer XKB-390

I was at quirino avenue yesterday just a stoplight away from the corner of South Super...when this speeding white lancer (about 40kph) hits this poor pedicab driver and passenger out of nowhere! I saw it happen, the pedicab driver whiplashes to the hood of the car and bounces off to the street...tangal yung manibela nya! And the pedicab rocketed to the other side of the intersection! May pasahero! sana nga walang batang involved. Imagine the pedicab from a slow 2kph tapos biglang naging 40kph! I looked to the lancer driver (he had an F4esque hairdo) i was waiting for him to get out andhelp the pedicab driver, and all he could do was to do the Shhhh hand signal...maybe telling his passenger to keep quiet. Sabay sarado ng bintana tapos hataw paalis ng scene! I took chase and got his plates XKB 390 white lancer. Gusto ko sanang bumaba kaso heavy tint at baka tarantado talaga yung nasa loob. I decided to report the incident to the cops instead...I dont know what happened to the poor victims, but i hope that this guy gets caught...I cant imagine if my kids were in that pedicab...if you have any leads to this car please report it to the police. Shame on that driver for not being responsible!!!!! >

Baka tinakas lang yung kotse? In the first place, alam ko bawal ang pedicabs on national roads, heck even a tricycle is not allowed to drive there.

siguro research tayo tungkol sa mga rules na ganyan para hindi rin tayo nangangapa pag dating sa mga ganyan... mahirap na - wala ka naman palang kasalanan eh matatakot ka pa...

The thing was...naka stop yung traffic light and the guy was travelling fast. And the pedicab driver was at the rightmost side of the street...halos nasa gutter na sya. This was before the gas station at quirino...mga 200 meters from SS pa. yun lang naawa talaga ako sa mga tao...walang laban sa car.

ahh definitely kasalanan nung naka-lancer..since nakuha mo ang plates madali lang ma-trace yun. not unless na-karnap yung kotseng yun.

kasalanan din nung pedicab, kasi bawal na nga dumaan dun tpos pinipilit pa nya. e kung wala siya dun eh d hindi pa siya na aksidente.. :D pero dapat tinulungan din ng lacer kht papano..

dapat talaga tinulungan...bka nga yun n lang ikinabubuhay nung tao para sa pamilyan nya tpos pababayaan n lang..wag naman ganun...

kaso ang hirap dyan..yung iba aabusuhin naman pag tinulungan..kesyo maraming bibilhin n gamot kasi di p gumagaling..etc...

langyang buhay dito sa pinas..di ko n alam kung san ako lulugar..:D

Agree na ako dyan...Kawawa naman yung naka pedicab...Ang alam ko bawal ang mga pedicab sa national road its like your walking in the middle of the highway...Pero kakaawa pa rin...

kawawa nga si pedicab driver and passenger. pero dapat maging lesson na sa kanila wag sa main roads, nadali narin ako diyan sa quirino. biglang preno kaharap ko dahil sa nag swerve na pedicab. nakapreno naman ako. pero after a few milliseconds KABLAG. yung kalikod ko bumangga sa likod ko. brand new gen 1 CRV dala ko. wala pa ako plate number mga 4 days palang. katakot takot na sabon inabot ko sa erpats ko. kaya galit talaga ako sa mga pedicab.

Even if kasalan ng Pedicab, dont forget, we are talking about lives here. No party should leave an accident scene, regardless.

I agree na marami talagang ka-b*ratan dito sa kalye and madali lang maka-relate sa driver kasi nagmamaneho tayong lahat. Pero, kung harap nung lancer yung tumama, siya ang at fault kasi dapat may leeway parati diba?

Kaya, ingat na lang tayo parati when driving ;)

sa LTO pampanga nung kumukuha ako ng exams and may sinabi yung police instructor once may tumawid sa NLEX na tao with the kalabaw and nabunggo ng mabilis na kotse namatay yung tao..

since bawal mag aliw aliw or mag gala gala sa loob ng expressway... (diba dapat?)

kasalanan parin daw ng kotse dahil tao parin yung binangga...nasa law daw yon

quirino bawal ang pedicab? ang alam ko po sa SSH/osmena lang. yung gas station na sinasabi mo, is shell sa may angel linao po? suki ko yan hehe haayyy dami po kasi talaga pedicab dyan... pero ang sama naman nung lancer.

Anong model and trim nito? Any identifying marks on the vehicle (tint color, collision damage, stickers, etc.). For easier identification...

talo talaga as long as kotse dala mo at ikaw ay nakatama ng:

1) any vehicle with less than 4 wheels - tr-bike, tricycle, bicycle or moped or whatever
2) kung tao ang nabangga mo

whether nasa tamang lugar ang tao o nde.. accountable lagi ang driver ng kotse... nakasaad yan.

Unfortunately.. after that.. you can always go to court and show the lack of discipline on the part of the agrieved party.. however you'd still have to pay for the medical fees.

nearly a year ago, a jeep was dropping people along the road. as i was crossing the road very carefully, a small woman suddenly tried to cross the street. there was no way for me to avoid her and she got hit but not with a strong force as i managed to apply the breaks. i stopped but a crowd suddenly gathered and the tanod told me to bring the person to the hospital. Well, i was planning to do it anyway. I brought her to the hospital, waited for an hour but suddenly the woman told me she just wanted to go home. anyway, i just gave her P500 and told her to use it to buy medicine if she needed to.

Ahhh ito ba yung tuesday. i was there too. i even slowed down to check. the driver tried to get down the car, girl siya. she was tried to help the pedicab driver but the driver was trying to hit her car with a big umbrella. the girl panicked and ran.
