"Mga 10:30 am, may tumawag daw sa bahay na nagpakilala bilang "Marissa". Kaibigan daw siya ng nanay ko. Ayon kay Marissa, naaksidente daw kami ng nanay ko. Nakabangga daw kami ng kotse at sadyang nasira daw yung nabangga naming kotse pero 'yung kotse namin mismo ay hindi napahamak (paano naman nangyari 'yon?). Sabi ni Marissa, nasa police station daw kami at hindi kami makatawag o maka-withdraw ng pera dahil kinuha ang ATM at cellphones namin. Sabi niya kay Ate Pina, "Kunin mo na ang pera sa cabinet, tapos hintayin mo ang tawag ko kung saan dadalhin." Siyempre di na naniwala si Ate Pina, at noong tinanong niya kung saang station kami iniimbestigahan, walang maibigay na sagot si Marissa. Binaba ni Ate Pina ang telepono, at sinubukan niyang tumawag sa tita ko sa MMDA. Pero surprise, dahil sina Marissa din ang sumagot ng tawag niya. Apparently, kaya na nilang mag-intercept ng phone calls. Sinubukan naman ni Ate Pina na tumawag sa nanay ko, pero si Marissa ulit ang nakasagot. Narealize ni Ate Pina na tapped na nga ang linya namin, kaya pumunta na lang siya kapitbahay para tumawag. Pumunta rin siya sa guard house para ireport ang incident, tsaka para humingi na rin ng tulong sa guard. Pumayag naman yung mga guard, at mula kanina e paligid-ligid sila malapit sa bahay namin.

May phone intercept at wiretap na ang dugo-dugo gang!

The kind of equipment that is capable of intercepting all phone calls (cellphone/landline) is too expensive and sensitive for these cheapskate robbers to acquire. Sa tingin ko may kasabawat na lineman or maintenance personnel ng telco yang grupo na yan. Dapat tiningnan nyo yung parang "steel cabinet" (ano ba tawag dun?) ng telco sa area nyo, afaik if you have access to that "steel cabinet" pwede mo marinig or maintercept yung mga phone calls na nakalinya doon. You should report this to your telephone company immediately. Buti my presence of mind yung tao na naiwan sa bahay nyo, hindi kaagad naniwala.

They not only get to hear your voice calls, they can even read your text messages.

Wow :shocked2: it really is an eye opener, but the perpetrator needs to install the software to the victim's phone before the suspect could spy right?

The equipment I was talking about are those high tech multi million stuff used by law enforcement, I think the now defunct PAOCTF headed by lacson before had those.

But still, I get your point. Those crooks are getting better and better.

ginagawa ko pag may bagong kasama sa bahay binibilinan ko na kahit anong mangyari sakin di ako tatawag para mag pakuha ng pera at ipadala sa ibang lugar kaya kung may tumawag wag nalang pansinin

I'm not convinced na high-tech na at marunong mag-intercept ng tawag yung mga miyembro ng sindikato. I'm betting that, more likely, nadagdagan na yung kuwento ng kaibigan.

I agree. Minsan hindi napuputol kaya pwede this manloloko (Marissa) was kept online.
