from what i understand, one is not allowed to park closer than 6 meters from the corner.

where is the corner? how is that 6 meters determined?
many corners have unique curb paint color, painted over the segment that is curving. the unique color ends when the curb assumes the straight configuration.
measure that 6 meters, starting from the part when it stops curving, which is usually the end of this unique coloration.

for sharp corners, unique color may not be necessary, as the 6 meters is easily determined.
