poor people can be purchased by cash... cash is king!

kaya nga the govt maintains poor people so they can buy them and get re-elected...

kung talaga pinag hirapan mo ang pera, di mo magagawa yan... its just like throwing money down the drain... "easy come, easy go..."

Baka yan gusto ni girlie? I know many rich men na may mistress sa side. Gusto ng kabit, lalo na kung bata, ay inconspicuous na kotse like a City or Vios. Para kung tanungin ng friends nila, sabihin nila bigay ng magulang. Medyo halata na kung over 1M ang tsikot. Even kung lantarang nagyayabang ang kabit, alam nila na they can't ask too much, so settle sila sa mga lower end pero matinong tsikot.

And usually sa medyo less classy na condos binabahay, like yung Campbridge Village sa Cainta. Marami diyang binahay na kabit.

On the other hand, I know of at least one mistress ng isang ultra rich na binabahay niya sa Urdaneta Apartments. Very high end indeed!

^^ I work for a company that supplies high end finishings. We've had some clients who were kabits. One is a kabit of a metro manila mayor & the other one a kabit of a senator.

Curious, what's the psychology behind a kabit? What made them decide to become mistresses, and what do they think of the moral consequences of their relationship?

Aside from the obvious gold-diggers... there are those who may be genuinely in love or in lust or whatever.

Power is ***y. The desire for power and wealth can be linked to the *** and reproductive drive... which is why powerful men often cheat on their partners.

So there really are people who will answer point blank that they're just in it for the money? In exchange for *** and cuddles?

And how do they justify this to their families? "At least di kayo nagugutom"?

Nobody ever admits to being a bad guy.

Unless they believe that being a gold-digger is an honorable thing, that is.

They will rationalize it in some way.

But, like I've said, that's not all of them. Some really think that they and they alone "understand" their man, and that they can be happy with him once he leaves that "other woman"

Others are more possessive. Staking out their claim to him and angling to be THE wife or something like it. Wanting him not for the money but the power and prestige.

Complicated. But in the end, it's a sad fact of our society that breaking a civil contract in this manner is so widespread, and that the only recourse of the wife is to stump up the money for an annulment or just "put up with it." Unlike America, where you can sue his ass for half the money and wash your hands of him.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

That's true. Power is SO ***Y! My close friends always tease me and call me mistress (of my German boss) Sometimes it's funny but there are times when I get pikon. I would believe that there is a small percentage of women that do fall in love with married men and become kabits. BUT IF the man provides financial support for the woman, e malamang it's only about the money.

The local film "No Other Woman" captured it really well.

she's 28, for a kabit malapit na siyang ma-trade in sa new model. so kung may kaya talaga yung papa niya dapat huthot to the max na siya.

re them, e sa yun ang talent nila e, ang maging courtesan. it is after all a profession.

    it's easy money!
    money trumps (heh heh!) morality.
plus, there's the real, however miniscule, chance, that the guy will leave his spouse and live with her for the rest of her happy life.

papano kapag nagka-hiwalay da girl miner and the gold mine?

Money and power, essentially the same as size and strength in the animal kingdom. Yan ang gusto ng females. On the female side, looks/physique/beauty and age (ability to produce) ang katumbas, hence the young and pretty.
