IMO, ok lang kung plain glass plate protectors lang, the heavily tinted ones should be banned. Tanghaling tapat nga di ko mabasa yung plate nos. Bakit may nagpapakabit ng tinted plate protectors? May masamang balak gawin o natatakot mainitan yung plaka?

falken..yun nga rinako meron clear glass covers sa mga sasakyan namin.may friends naman ako na blue tint..green tint.ok lang naman yun kasi kitang kita anman ang plate numbers.
pero BLACK/DARK GRAY TINTS!?!?!
duh!!!
better to just keep the dmanplates in their toilets.

Yes, they should be banned from the streets. Moreover, they should be considered as non-conformances in the "no plate - no travel policy",- including the dilapidated plates... If the officer cannot read your *full* plate number,- you're it!
IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
