He has clinics in quite a few major hospitals, that means he's well off. Ang tiyaga naman ng taong itong magtago ng dahil lang sa P7,500 which in the first place he should readily agree to since it's their fault anyway. Di naman niya madadala lahat ng pera niya when he croaks.

M2, LTO requires TPL before registration renewal, unless fake yun insurance nila. Ganuon din kasi nangyari sa akin before, binangga ako, pero sabi ng insurance ko hindi nila macontact yun insurance nila (baka fake daw) so ako rin nagbayad ng participation.

    M2,

I'm sure you already have the necessary docs., i.e. pictures, insurance policy, affidavit, photocopies of your non-pro license, registration, etc.

Just file a complaint with the Office of the City Prosecutor for Damage to Property due to Reckless Imprudence against the driver. You can also go after the registered owner of the vehicle since he is subsidiarily liable for the damage caused by his employee. After the complaints have been filed, sila na ang lalapit sayo, especially the doctor. You can even go after his professional license with the PRC for trying to evade a just and valid obligation to you. File the complaints and nail his ass!

I pretty much doubt if a lawyer, or any other person for that matter, can argue with pictures of the accident and the corresponding police report (tutukan mo lang at baka dun magbago ang storya). Besides, if he steps out of line, file a complaint with the IBP for violation of the Code of Ethics, namely that of honesty.

Ano ba namang klaseng doctor iyan? Kahit naman siguro hindi siya doctor, he should know how to take command responsibility for all persons under his employment and supervision.

Ibig sabihin, kapag may nagkamali sa staff niya during a procedure, magtatago din siya sa iyo kahit siya ang attending MD mo?

He should have settled the amount with you ASAP. Then settle the matter with his driver internally.

Start na ba ng mail brigade? Gawa ka na ng message. Tsikoteers na bahala magkalat.

as well as the following quote from dr.otep rivera:

"Magpagamot tayong lahat sa kanya then let's sue for malpractice. hehehe.

Sir M2, sana masolusyunan na ang gusot na ito na hindi mo naman ginusto in the first place."

    -----

dr.rivera, i know dr. ramos. he is a good man and has helped a lot of very very poor people in need. i also know that he is very very busy. unfortunately, i have not seen him enough lately for me to inform him about this thread. i highlighted a part of your message to stress the point that we should stay in topic. it does not follow that if he might have failed this responsibility as mr.mazdamazda explains, then he would likewise be remiss in his other obligations, such as what you are apparently insinuating in his medical practice (see highlighted text and quotation following). while i would not want to defend dr.ramos as i am not priviledged to know the specifics of the case, i think it is prudent that we do not delve into other areas that we do not know anything about.
