    :bash:
Roads in Manila are getting worse by the day!! Perfectly fine roads are under stress due to incessant raining and heavy vehicles especially trucks.
Potholes in Manila are nothing new and having them more abundant during the rainy season is part of the day to day driving conditions we all need to cope up with. But it is unusual for manila to experience rains for one week straight so this is probably why almost the whole of Manila's roads are in bad shape latey.

i have made a list the places i frequent and the ff areas require you to be more cautious of your driving and be always prepared:

MAJOR - will cause major vehicle damage on speeds above 20 kph
MODERATE - maintain speeds of below 40kph
SLIGHT - normal driving speeds but just be mindful of the road irregularities

1.) Roxas Blvd northbound around Baclaran area - MAJOR ALL LANES
2.) Quirino Etxn (Paco Area) - MAJOR
    3.) U.N Avenue extn -MODERATE
    4.) Romualdez st - MODERATE
5.) Magallanes area below skyway - SLIGHT
6.) Quintin Paredes southbound (near Chinatown arch)-MAJOR center lane
7.) EDSA sourthbound (around Boni) - MAJOR bus lane
8.) EDSA northbound (around Buendia in front of Forbes park seconday gate) - MAJOR bus lane
    9.) Pioneer St - SLIGHT
10.) Shaw Blvd - SLIGHT TO MODERATE
11.) Fort BGC(32nd street along St Lukes) - SLIGHT
12.) C-5 Road (from Bagong Ilog to Fort) - MODERATE
13.) EDSA approaching south end - MODERATE
14.) road in front of Greenbelt 5 - MODERATE
    15.) Pasay Road - MODERATE

pls. include the whole stretch of Osmeņa highway from quirino to slex...especially the one from san andres to pasay road...the worst segment is the fly over of buendia...bcoz of the numerous pot holes an asphalt laying...the road is uneven...parang tanggal kagad ang alignment pag humataw ka...patay kang kotse ka, lalo na pag umuulan...hindi kita butas...

where there are trucks potholes are more common

bakit kasi they still use asphalt on it??? dapat sa ganyan cement. if u notice hongkong roads are all cement, it's stronger and is brighter during the night.

the osmena hiway portion i think is still bearable. there are no giant potholes like those stated above

may narinig din ako dati from a friend. and according to him, marami raw supply ng asphalt satin since this is a petroleum waste material. instead na itapon, ginagamit nalang. not sure if this is true though.

oh and btw, our roads were never smooth. even iyong mga well cemented eh may mga alon alon kang mararamdaman at maliliit na matagtag.

yung first time kong pumunta ng subic bay around 1994 napansin ko parang iba yung asphalt road na ginamit ng mga Kano. Parang mas sturdy siya parang iba yung mixture/texture compared sa local asphalt roads.

may presidentiable na ba na isinama sa plataporma niya yung better roads for better Philippines.

Mukhang hindi ka daily dumadaan sa osmeņa..., try mo ngayon bro! lalo na pag may drizzle...tignan natn kung hindi ka magpapatin-tero sa daan..., I guess you were made to think to say your assumptions coz, mas grabe siguro sa dinadaaanan mo, kaya you thought osmeņa is still bearable...

Thanks
