Parang totaled yung Fortuner. Sobrang lakas ng impact parang pati wheel rim na bengkong at collapse yung suspension. Most probably nag roll-over siya.

Well head on or not... I'd hate to be the driver of the front passenger of the jeep, imagine no airbag and no crumple zones... kungdi dedo, malamang serious injury ang natamo niyan especially to the legs and head.

Head on ba? Baka tinamaan ng Jeep yung side ng Fortuner ("T-boned" ang tawag doon yata). Kasi yung nasa sa pics, parang right side ng Fortuner ang nayupi. Which may explain why the doors look shattered and the rear wheel na off-camber tuloy.

Mukhang t-bone nga. If the side of the Fortuner can mess up a jeepney like that, just think of the possibilities if they met head on.

Btw, reminds me of those jeepney drivers bragging na 'makapal ang kaha' nila. Yan ba ang makapal? hahaha.

I saw the front right passenger airbags got deployed on the fortuner (assuming walang side airbags ang fortuner) di ba kung side impact hindi dapat mag deploy ang front air bags? di ko kasi nakita fully ang harap ng fortuner.
