It's because mayayabang talaga masyado mga tao dito, konting angat lang gusto ipaglandakan sa ibang tao na nakakataas at nakakalamang na sila, they love pushing their weight around. Some years back in Makati I saw one convoy of a politico complete with motorcycle escorts and a trailing van, The convoy was moving along Buendia and made a right turn for Ayala ave. Because the right most slot was jammed with buses and jeepneys, the convoy made use of the middle lane where they made an "illegal turn"(lane going straight through Buendia to the general direction of EDSA), the convoy made it through the right turn except the L-300 van which couldn't fit because the driver was so stupid and couldn't make it through the narrow gap left by one car (which was stopped because of the red light), the car was already dangerously close to the oncoming vehicles crossing ayala because the motorcycle escorts already asked the driver (old man) to move.
