June 17th, 2010 11:40 AM #891I used to keep a supply of PostIT(tm) sheets for the sole purpose of writing that polite message that Damien mentioned. Whenever a stupid driver parks sloppily beside my car, I'd stick that note right smack in the middle of the windshield.
Years pass by and a dozen PostIT pads wasted...NOTHING. Dumami pa ata yung mga stupid parkers.
There was even a time when the owner of the car saw me putting that note on his windshield. Know what he did? He took out the note, read it, grimaced, and stuck it on my windshield. I tried to talk to the guy pero dinedma ako. (Yeah yeah... I know you're going to say.. baka may emergency yung guy... iniwan sya ng misis niya....or he's in an "I don't need this now" kind of situation... but still, it does not give you the right to park your car so bad that it encroaches on my parking space...)
After that incident, I gave up. Sayang lang ang pera at oras ko buying PostIT pads and writing those polite notes. Wala namang effect.
I think it's far better to post pictures of the offender's car complete with plate number on this forum. IF those people are callous enough park improperly, then they probably don't mind or even care if they get their car featured on this forum. Baka matuwa pa sila dahil naging bida pa yung kotse nila.Last edited by ess; June 17th, 2010 at 12:07 PM.

Good thing tumahimik na siya. Naliwanagan na siguro. Plates are visible or not, it's your choice.
The plates are there and can be seen by many when you roam around philippines ( using your car, of course ) ... so what the heck is the point of blurring it since even the ones who doesn't use the internet or isn't a member of tsikot sees it ?
Marami pang gulo sa ganyan eh. Let the poster decide.
Back to normal na tayo.

So even to use a post it with a note or post a picture in a forum may consider a no effective way to change the driver who park stupidly...Kase walang law that prohibits driver to park stupidly...ang katwiran kse " Mind our own business " at wala din sumisita sa parking kung sinakop natin ang kabilang slot... Mababawasan siguro ito kung yong Management ng parking ang mismong sisita sa mga driver na ayusin ang pag park para magamit ng iba yong bakanteng slot...

Lupit nito, from wiki lang he he
Ancient Assyria
Possibly the first parking restrictions were put in place in Nineveh, the capital of ancient Assyria in c.700 BC. The restrictions are due to their king Sennacherib (704 to 681 BC) and pertained to the sacred main processional way through Ninevah. The world's very first parking signs read "ROYAL ROAD - LET NO MAN DECREASE IT". The penalty for parking a chariot on this road was death followed by impaling outside one's own home.

what if... a 2 way street, with only 2 lanes, tapos may isang naka parada sa isang side then tinapatan pa ng isang land cruiser (malaki siya diba???) sa kabilang side.. so double parked sila...
i believe the driver isn't stupid anymore... ogags na siya siguro.. or mayabang lang talaga...
