*renzo, What rule in this forum that you place so high above the law of the Philippine Republic? The privacy of an individual that is respected, protected and guaranteed by the Constitution and the Civil Code of the Philippines.

An act to post images of one's personally identifiable item such as a License Plate/ID and causing humiliation can be qualified as "Unjust Vexation". This is a form of harassment that is punishable by law under Article 287 of the Revised Penal Code

    Don't make me laugh now.
This is the point that everyone should consider... But let us also consider that a plate no. or the car model and more can be consider a plain visual information to the public. It is also a tool to identify the owner if any crimes, accidents or violation in the road...

It's actually illegal. The problem is Filipinos in Cyberspace think they can act like Gods where they cannot be identified unlike in the US (you can be traced via your IP address) that they can do whatever they want with the information they have.

Information is a two bladed sword. It has the power to create and destroy. What's wrong with having a little "tact" in the usage of such information? In the end what wins in these people's hearts is their own "selfish" and personal agenda, not withstanding the rights of innocent people who may be affected by their irresponsible behavior.

Did you lost a million bucks when these people parked the wrong way that you wantonly risk their identity in cyberspace? No!

Did someone die as a result of their bad parking? No!

They just happen to have caught your ire. And you're cheap response is to get back at them through humiliation.

Now who's more stupid? You or them? Frankly, I don't see any difference folks.

Oh I would SG, if they have the balls to post their real names and addresses. I'd even contact the owners of the vehicles they posted.

1 thing that is good about Goon Squad is, mag-iingat ka sa mga ginagawa mo as a driver dahil baka ma-post ka dito.

Agree in all points...that's why I said...

"a plate no. or the car model and more can be consider a plain visual information to the public. It is also a tool to identify the owner if any crimes, accidents or violation in the road ".

If we just used this information to tagged the car and the owner by parking stupidly, IMO it's a bit rude...

The question is...Did we commit crimes or violation by parking stupidly?

and besides what is the privacy that we were talking about? aren't the plate numbers precisely there to identify the cars?

kung violation yun mag post ng plate numbers then dapat hinde na rin i display sa kotse yun.

No laws prohibits to park stupidly but rules? yes! Kaya may parking slot partition. If you cross that line, the parking lot management may charge you twice if it is a paid parking lot.

Mas maganda jan eh pag ginamit mo yong dalawang slot...magbayad na lang ng doble...
