I think parking slots should have a concrete barrier on both sides at least 1 foot high. This will make people park dead center, otherwise, they won't be able to come out of their car. Helps prevent scratches as well from the dreaded open door. lol

just make sure the barriers wont be as high as the side windows. or else, the parking slot will be a "drive thru motel"

Naku, eh di magmahal ang parking fees. Holdap na nga ang mga rates sa ibang establishments eh.

I used to park at one of those places na may "elevator" ba tawag dun? Yung nag-rorotate so 2-3 cars ang kasya sa isang parking slot... pag di mo ni centro yung parking mo dun, posibleng malagalag yung car mo pag umikot

... and help generate door dents from the dreaded foot-tall dividers.

and will prevent shoppers from rolling the carts to the rear of the car at the inner end.

and will increase the difficulty of driving their cars into the correct parking position.

and lastly, it will increase operators'/owners' expenses... directly (cost of putting up the dividers) and indirectly (it will decrease the number of paying park-ers, as the design will necessitate widening each and every parking slot).

    heh heh.

What i’ve notice for pwd parking slot is specific for people with wheelchair kasi may ramp for wheelchair lagi yung parking slot nila or ini.handa lang nila yun just to be ready if the pwd needs a ramp? Kasi may iba pwd sign may wheelchair sign... pero iba pwd lang naka lagay...

"i am aware of the illness, and the limitations it causes the patient. and it's fine with me as a pwd. but you will probably have a hell of a time convincing the others."
they can look so... "normal", kasi.

for example, even ordinary direct sunlight can trigger an attack. makikipag-patintero ka sa sinag ng araw.
    talk about modern-day vampires.

then there is the sle arthritis. movement limitation. one would wonder, why the person is moving so slowly.

    etc.
most of which may not be readily identified by the ill-informed.

Yes, but I hope that those pwd that have no problems of walking, would park on the regular parking, & would be considerate to other pwd that have problems with mobility.

problem is pinoys are inconsiderate people

sa US you have to hang a PWD card on your rear view mirror to park at a pwd slot. oh wait you can't do that here coz of dark tints

actually, if even there is a policy for such, "no one does it and no one polices it".

Me and the family just came from baguio last weekend. There was this PWD slot in front of the shops at Camp John Hay. Parking was full. I was shaking my head with disgust for those idiots who purposely ignore the big PWD only sign and still park at the PWD slot.

Good thing the guard on duty was vigilant and told each and every idiot not to park there.
