Kung sa subdivision yan, depende na sa home owners association policy siguro. Majority must have agreed its ok to park sa kalye hence gumawa sila markings.

But if the subdivision's streets have been turned over to the local government and the latter is the one maintaining it, it does not matter whether the village residents have agreed among themselves to designate one side of the street as parking space. Such "agreement" would not be legal. That road is common property for all to use.

the first picture shows our street in a subdivision where i live. note that building(a church) towards the end, all these cars belongs to those people who visits the church during "saturdays" and of all them aren't residents/home owners within our village, outsiders so to speak.
that church stands along the street(the village' main avenue)perpendicular with ours which was far more doubled in width as compared with ours and what makes me wonder why these bunch of lazy idiots keeps flocking in our street and keeping us annoyed most of the time.

here's a story; there's this one incident happened one saturday evening going home when i'm about to enter our street with my pickup truck, lo and behold these 2 idiots parked their cars like the way with the 2nd picture. there's no way i could squeeze through my truck and there's traffic right behind me so there's no way for me to backup or move to ease the traffic jam, grid lock!
i called the guard to look for those idiots who parked their cars, guard came back and said; "sir, nagdadasal po sila dun sa loob ng simbahan eh." *******! sabi ko, intayin pa ba namin matapos ang dasal nila eh nagkabuhol-buhol na ang taffic dito?! tawagin mo yung mga gunggong na yun! sabi ko. drivers/owners then came out seeing me bursting in rage. sorry po-sorry po sabi nila.
i confronted those people, one of which is old as my uncle but i don't care 'cause he's an idiot anyways. i simply told them "we as residents here understands and respect what you are doing, pero kung nakakaperwisyo na kayo eh ibang usapan na 'yan. maybe if god can speak and do actions right now? he might kicking your ass' then telling you to move your cars out there creating havoc...first things first."

i will provide copies of these pictures to the home owners association along with the complaints report. let me see how it goes.
it is the second time around for this kind of incident btw. perwisyo na talaga.

May ibang ganyan din sa ibang lugar, kahit ibang religion din meron. Pero yung iba may tao na in charge sa traffic, making sure walang grid lock na nangyayari, although may pag bagal pa rin ng traffic.

ilang dekada na kami dito sa village bro and iirc mga 3 years ago lang yata sumulpot yun church dito. and from what i've heard is wala sa jurisdiction ng village yung lote ng church due to some technical reasons, it was used to be a vacant lot na may informal settler...care taker yata whatsoever. sort of naipit lang yun lote since the village was developed.
punta ko sa admin sa monday, renewal na ng car pass at isabay ko na yun reklamo ko. will find out how and what would be the admins' action to intervene with the situation.

update: i talked with the admin at the home owners association's office this morning, copies of the pictures acknowledged along with my complaints. they will summon it to "pastor" who owns the church tomorrow first thing in the morning. no need for discussions between the complainants and respondents, maliwanag pa sa sikat ng araw traffic rules within the village had been violated. tho let's see how it goes.

went to SnR global to buy some stuff, while waiting sa labas ay may nakita akong bgc marshall's red pickup na nagbaba ng pasahero sa entrance ng SnR, a male and female pair which i assume are high ranking officers ng marshalls. both entered the store, yung pick up nagswerve sa side ng SLGC to "wait" for the two. after a minute dumating yung rider na marshalls, pinaalis yung mga naka "waiting" din kuno sa side ng SnR. nung naubos na lumipat yung pick up sa SnR side, and as i entered also the store after 30 minutes eh andun pa rin yung pick up nila. yung female companion nasa labas, nagra-radio kuno. pero yung lalaki di pa lumalabas ng SnR. paglabas ko after another 10-15 minutes andun pa rin sila.

Karamihan ng katoliko sumisimba lang pag palm sunday, easter sunday tsaka christmas. ( sorry OT!) hehe
