Rationalization of the rules is not the reason why we filipinos dont follow the rules. It actually helps us move forward by streamlining the process by identifying and removing archaic rules, that were stablished by less informed people before or now outdated by the norm. And common knowledge na pag nasa subic or other countries, most of the fililino drivers stick to the rules.

Even in other tourist destinations very courteous tayo, walang gitgitan, unahan, etc.

The only reason we, filipinos, dont follow the rules is because gusto natin makalamang or for convinience. No jaywalking, Use overpass? This is usually the behavior pag work mode. Pero if driving tayo to a tourist destination, biglang chill na chill lang. Though different case pag pauwi na.

This is the reason kaya puv drivers(taxi, bus, uv) ang pinaka toxic sa kalsada.

filipinos would follow the rules, if the danger of penalty is real and reliable.

I only park facing the wall if there's a sign that says so. Pero masama loob ko when I do that kasi hirap ako sa paharap

It being a private entity does not mean anything if it would expose you and people around you to certain risks just for them to save money. Its like those no return no exchange policy ng mga biz dati kahit wala pang 7 days, rules that were created to take advantage of the consumers.

And in your example, the "passing" manuever may just be to give way to the car that is getting out. Unless talagang before pa dumating yung driver nung other car, nakalampas na sya and snwerte lang sya na may lalabas sa likod nya. Pero equal rights parin kayo dun, unless nasa likod mo sya sa simula ang nung nakita nya na palabas yung nasa unahan mo, lumipat sya sa unahan to get the better position.

And if nasa unahan mo sya, possibly nauna sya sayo so in gentleman terms, mas ok lang na mauna na sya if sa gitna nyo yung lumabas na sasakyan.

Mali din. Its like this.. one way lane gaya sa sm annex thats where it happened. So yung auto sa harapan na gusto nag reverse ang gagawin pala nya eh haharangan pa nya yung auto na nakalabas kasi one way nga daloy ng lane doon at kung nakapag tactical move pa yung naka exit na auto para malampasan lang yung auto nasa unahan na gusto pa mag reverse sa ONE WAY lane na bigla lang nag hazzard sabay harurot reverse eh does that make it right or even courteous? Heck no. Hinarangan mo na nga yung nag exit na auto dahil ikaw gusto mo mag reverse sabay inagawan mo pa ng pwesto yung may right of way. A smart driver would wait before the slot of the parked vehicle and signal their intent to occupy said space kasi oras na lumampas ka na e sasagabal ka pa sa daloy ng mga sasakyan gusto umalis na.

^in that case, magulang nga si driver. Never ko pa na experience yan, ang na experience ko is may sasakyan sa likod ko, baba si yaya or si wifey, then tatayuan na yung slot na may lalabas sa harap ko, then pag labas nung parked car, para na silang human traffic cone na aalis nalang pag papasok na yung sasakyan nila. Nakipag ayaw pako dahil jan. ) buti may guard na nakita at lumapit para sawayin yung ganung modus.

I don't agree with your move either.

That's practically a person reserving or claiming a slot

That practice of claiming a parking slot without the car should not be allowed.

I've never said po na I did it. If you would read it again, ako nga yung victim nung modus. Since yung yaya or wifey nung other car yung humarang sakin.

I follow what is written even if I don't like it. But, I would avoid going back there as much as possible. Chances for an accident are much higher.

It could have been better but it's not that horrible.

QC Holy Spirit drive corner exiting to Commonwealth service road. Two lanes lang. PULIS ang nakaparada. Dalawa. Grrrrrrrrrrr.

I live at Holy Spirit Drive. Hehe! In fairness that corner is a sign of relief for me because that means I have already passed thru the horrendous traffic due to double parking along Holy Spirit Drive.

Don't you just love those people who park stupidly?
