I think the second car is okay. Based on the white stripe, mukhang edge slot yung pinaradahan niya. That means that no car is supposed to park to the right of that green car. The owner of the green car probably did that intentionally to lessen the chances of getting door dings from drivers like the first picture.

The driver in the second picture parked so far from the second slot. Seems ok. Most of the time. Problem is should the driver on his left leave and a second one comes in and sees a bigger space, he would park similarly to the driver in the first picture. Especially if he use the other car as point of reference instead of the white lines (and many do this when parking).

Improper parking begets more improper parking.

Oh man...I can't tell you how much I passionately hate those kinds of drivers. Kitang kita naman nila na may white lines for parking, pero doon pa rin nananantsya sa katabing kotse.

Dapat ata dito naka semento at elevated yung mga white parking lines na yan eh.

Anyway, that is why I always seek those solo parking slots, kahit na gaano kalayo yung lalakarin ko.

this shot btw was taken at the church's parking area pa, maryosep! nagkaka-ubusan na nga ng parking slot e ayaw pang mag-wasto!
meron pang isang car na pasaway din doon sa kabilang lane pero i didn't bother to take a shot pa, meron na ngang isang guy na masama ang tingin sa akin nung kinuha ko 'tong shot na 'to e, dont know kung kilala nya yung may ari nung car.

Imho, the parking space is not standard. For the white lines, that is too narrow between them. The range should be between 2.3 to 2.75 metres.

If you notice the space between cars (forget the white lines ), they don't even have an ample space to open doors. This is the reason why those drivers parked that way, again just my thought.
