^dati kasi simple lang ang mga photos sa thread. Basta lampas sa linya, okay nang ipost dito. We all agree na mali yun. Pero ngayon pati pala sagad sa linya. May nagsasabing mali, may nagsasabing tama. May mga pagtatalo. tignan mo 5th page na yata ito since na post yung picture ng vios. Kapag tinanggap na mali yung sagad sa linya parang slippery slope ito. kapag ba inconvenient sa katabi kahit nasa linya, pwede nang ipost sa thread? Actually mas tanong ko ito sa mga nagsasabing mali yung sagad sa linya. Kailan mo masasabing mali ang isang nagpark kahit na nasa loob sya ng linya? gaano kalayo sa linya? kailangan ba makalabas ang pasahero ng katabi mo ng maayos na maayos? e paano kung mataba siya? Kaya nga ang suggestion ko ay hindi tantyahan o eyeballing lang kungdi sukatan na. Mapupuno kasi itong thread ng photos kung "abala" sa katabi ang dahilan ng post. Ang dami kayang makitid na parking slot sa metro manila.

Basta pasok sa linya walang problema. Yung pag sagad minsan may na encounter na rin akong ganyan sinagad pero pasok pa rin sa linya niya. Di ko pinicturan di naman ako naabala e dahil kasya pa naman ako

regarding the vios photo, how far should one be from the parking side lines? Lets make this objective. Kasi kung tantyahan lang o kaya dahil lang tingin ko hindi makakapasok ng maayos ang pasahero ko post na ako agad.

I would be annoyed if it happened to me. And it did happen to me several times. My favorite spot in a mall that I frequent has exactly the same set up. May ibang auto sagad din sa other side mag park, may iba naman right smack in the middle at may iba tumatabi pa rin parang yan vios. But I wouldn't say the vios is not parked properly. It is parked properly but not according to the preference of the other car. Basta hindi ma ding or matamaan auto ko, walang problema.

Where is Atty JM? I wonder what he has to say about this?

ito yung point ko sa post ko. Dahil we dont have clear measurement kung ano ibig sabihin ng sagad, we resort to the preference or opinion of others. This becomes subjective and not objective. Ang haba ng pagtatalo if stupid o hindi yung vios. 7 pages na nga.

For me as long as they're parked inside their line. No problem. Kaya nga meron clear line. You can't park outside of that

I somehow agree with you but for some tsikoters that is not the case. Clearly not all of us agree with each other as far as the vios post is concerned.

The question now is can we label a driver stupid even if he/she parks his/her car inside the line? If yes, under what circumstances?

If they paint in a bigger parking slot, that'll mean less cars can fit in a given area. Making them somewhat smaller (but still within reason) is a win-win in most cases. More cars can fit in (good for us) and more parking money can be collected (good for the establishment).

Our parking allotment/space has to adjust to the changing footprints of the vehicles....

In the US (at least for the states which I have visited),- there are slots allocated only for cars,- and there are slots allocated for wide vehicles (SUVs, vans etc). In most areas, parking slots are wide enough to accommodate wide vehicles....

Dito Hinde ko talaga magawa na pag meron available parking diretso ko na pasok. Kailangan talaga paatras eh. Sasabit talaga saw katabing kotse

Unfortunately, we simply don't have the luxury of space. Metro Manila is so densely populated that every square meter counts. They're just making the most of what they have.

exactly ganyan din ginagawa ko bro tuwing nagpupunta ako diyan sa mall na iyan kung saan nag picture si OP with the mazda. if you look closely alanganin naman kasi talaga ang lapad ng mga parking slots doon kahit para sa mga small or mid-sized na auto. iirc meron tatlong ganyan each parking level na pang dalawahan lang na slots na poste and curbs ang isang side, all of which are located a bit far from the mall's entrance. ok lang na maglakad ako ng malayo,,, at least alam ko naman safe ang parada ko kontra door dings. at madalas bakante yun mga slots na iyon baka palibhasa malayo sa entrance ng mall. nag-siksikan sila lahat dun sa malapit sa mall pero pahirapan naman sumakay/bumaba ng auto.
sabi nga ni kumander minsan; nirerentahan mo na yata ito'ng slot, doon kasi talaga ako palagi naka-park every time we visit.

I guess based on the photo kahit nasa gitna silang pareho naka park masikip pa rin. So one has to give way.
