Let's view this on another perspective, if I'm the owner of an establishment and the guy decides to leave his car overnight in front of my store, if he does not get his car by opening hour the next day, I'll have it towed too.

If you're parking on private property without the permission of the owner, you deserve to be towed. Parking isn't free even if it's "free."

yes agree ako dito. if sarabo pa yung establishment, i guess ok lang maki-park. but its the driver's responsibility to know the opening hour of the establishment for him to move his vehicle to another place.

Btw, quick question: On towing, what if naka 1st gear ka tapos naka handbrake ka din, tapos yung tow eh two wheels lang ang kaya i-lift -- eh di ba makakasira yung ng either the drivetrain/transmission(?) (front rolling) or handbrake (rear rolling)?

May mga tao talagang sadya makapal ang mukha. Place a NO PARKING / DRIVEWAY sign on your driveway!

sister ko tumirik yung sasakyan diyan sa may edsa harap ng paramount. papunta na siya sa u-turn slot goin trinoma eh inabutan at matic pa naman. buti gabi at mabait mga lespu tinulak at isinampa may side walk ng mercury. hapon na siya ng kinabukasan nakabalik na may kasamang mekaniko.
asar na asar yung manager kasi alanganin yung pag parada nung tsikot ng sis ko. yung towing hirap din hindi madeskartehan. sobrang hiya nung kapatid ko pero buti naabutan pa niya yung sasakyan.

The towing guys would normally do a "heads-up" job, since they know that almost all vehicles now are front wheel drive. If the handbrake is engaged, expect it to be worn down to the rivets when you get your car back. Either way a vehicle being towed will suffer damage in one form or the other.

Nga pala, towing guys only go for small fry. Case in point; here in Makati, in front of Apartment 1B is a no parking/waiting zone (red coloured sidewalk). Mr. Hotshot parks, calmly gets out of his Jaguar XJ and has lunch inside. Towing guys just passby and look the other way ..

Nasiraan din kami dati ng sasakyan. Sa harap ng BSP sa roxas blvd. Nakiusap nalang kami sa guard na makikirap lang kami since sunday naman. Monday na namin napa-tow sa casa.

luluwagan lang nila yung hand brake cable mo... meron adjustment yan sa ilalim.. kung naka 1st gear naman susungkitin lang nila yung shift stick mo.. ang mahirap yung A/T kasi naka park lock yun
