yesterday, nahuli ako ng manila traffic aide for beating the red light along pier road, south harbour (i think)... nakaugalian ko na pag nahuhuli ako, i just ask for my violation, then the ticket. i don't surrender my license nor bother to argue w/ the apprehending officer. that way di nila ko makokotongan. bayaran ko na lang sa bangko ang fine, tapos na. at least if MMDA ang nakakhuli sa'kin, that's what i usually do... pero tong kahapon, during the process of questioning, the traffic aide suddenly blurted "2.5k 'to sir pag binayaran nyo..." i just kept my cool and answered him, "kung 2.5k yan, di ko babayaran yan, alam ko 150 lang violation ko" than i asked for his name dahil malabo ang pagkakasulat nya sa ticket. there he backed off, akala nya siguro irereport ko siya. I asked him ano 2 libo ba talaga? he said "ay sila na bahala dun sir, lagay ko na lang dito disobedience to traffic signal", which the least form of violation dun sa ticket. akala niya siguro, i'd try to bribe him a hundred or so if i hear 2.5k babayaran ko... ul*l nya!
anyway, meron na ba sa inyo nahuli sa manila (due to traffc violation)? and magkano ba talaga, mas mataas ba compared sa list of fine ng LTO? Thanks

It's good to know the prices of violation fines in Metro Manila. Malamang niloloko ka lang ng humuhuli sayo para kotongan mo na lang siya. Imposibleng 2.5K ang fine for beating red light.

maraming nang raraket na pulis ngayon sa manila area. notice how many checkpoints you're gonna pass by on your way to nagtahan from osmena highway. meron beside designer's depot, after turning right at quirino, meron nanaman sa may paakyat ng bridge going to sta. mesa, then sa may espana welcome rotonda meron nanaman. may sarili na silang lists of traffic violations with their corresponding fines, which are too steep in my opinion. sa tingin ko gawa gawa lang nila yun.

Mas ok actually na mahal ang fines, pero syempre dapat hindi source of kotong. Kapag masakit sa bulsa, matututong magtanda.

finally got my license. natagalan gawa ni milenyo. 500 bucks for disobedience to traffic signal. sakit sa bulsa! kaya siguro yung iba choose to bribe these traffic aides, sobrang mahal naman kasi. wala namang study na ginawa which proves stiffer fines equates to lesser traffic violations! di man lang mapaayos ang lansangan at mabawasan ang traffic ang laki pala ng kinikita!
One dude told me it was Li-Ion. Another dude corrected him. AFAIK the Zenix gets the Li-Ion hence...
