    Hi All!

    I remember the story of a Philippine Marine transport in Makati that had an encounter with these towing goons.

    Apparently, the driver's companion went into a building for some official business and the driver kept the transport out of the way of traffic.

    For some reason or other, the towing goons wanted to tow him and the driver tried speaking with the goons.

    This apparently didn't work as they continued to put the chains on.

    So the driver goes to the transport and then comes back with his M-16 and his game face.

    Chains were removed post haste and the goons drove away so fast, you'd think there was a V12 engine under their hood.

    Serves them right.

    Hey i recognize that Nolasco now too. He would also position himself near rufino and come up with some BS charge na no right turn pag red pero wala naman sign. Sometimes they try to also use the sign like in Sedeno and then you point out na only within certain days and times. Pero mag mamarunong and then you have to pull them there to show them. tapos they will try to get you on some BS na obstructing eh they were the ones who made you stop and park there. Talagang with every intent of trying to fool the public and fill the coffers of whom?

    Iba talaga ang tigas ng Patrol . Lalo na yung matapang ang hitsura like kay afrasay.

    Oras na ba mag-start ng mass e-mail with Nolasco's face on it? hehehe.

    No wonder the Philippines is the most corrupt country is Asia... even worst than Indonesia.

    Hmm... baka pag si Lito Lapid na mayor ng Makati, mawawala na yang mga corrupt na MAPSA. Haha, wishful thinking lang yan for sure!

    Just last week, mga 5:10pm dito sa Valero st. in front of starbucks. May isang tow truck na naka hook up sa isang BMW series 1. The MAPSA guy was outside teh truck waiting for something and they were not doing anything to pull the car out..naka hook lang yung rig sa ilalim ng car. PLus, the BMW was parallel parked between 2 other cars, so di ata nila mahihila yung car at that angle. But they attached the towing stuff nonetheless.

    My guess is hinihintay nila yung owner ng BMW dumating para kotongin nila.

    MAPSA = scumbag

    friendly tip guys: when you park at the parallel parking spots, be sure to point your vehicle along the flow of traffic.

    just today at de la costa i parked at the opposite side of the road without making a u-turn first. then i got down to meet my wife and five seconds later, the towtruck was pulling up alongside the car! i practically ran to the car and after some haggling with an unusually friendly mapsa officer, succeeded in making them leave.
    we didn't bribe 'em, just dropped some names and showed off a card. whew, close call.

DO MAPSA/MAKATI TOWING profile or select "victims"?
