my opinion,
folks are sometimes more aggressive when they are aware that their children or significant other, are watching and hearing everything.
it would probably go easier, if they were pulled to one corner by the authority, far from their children's eyes and ears. the guilty party would probably be more well-mannered, thus.
nobody wants to be made to look like a fool, in front of their loved ones.

Ironic that it is his own disrespectful conduct that makes himself look like a fool.

I'm sure those kids will remember that moment and think it's not the proudest day of dad/tito's life.
