Isn't that typical of most Filipinos? Materialistic and show off? And you have to flaunt on the Internet of material things?

baka naman hindi talaga sya swelduhang driver...

baka opisyal sya nung agency tapos para makakuha ng sympathy, pinagmukha syang mahirap at driver lang.

typical palusot nanaman to get symphaty.

Driver talaga. If you can read the article, he was reprimanded & suspended.

If this is his plan then it is a very dumb plan. Some people know the real him. It is a hard lie to cover.

Yung mga nagde defend pa rin kay manong driver may last clear chance pa kayo. Hindi kaya si OB itong si Manong driver? Pretentious din e.

I had a feeling na driver kasi yung suot niya typical uniform ng driver. And he's wearing the same or similar in the pic with the red car.

Doesn't matter if he owns the car or if he just drives it, the fact is that he acted like a douchebag.

Ever heard of the saying "langaw na nakatungtong sa kalabaw"? Parang ganun po ang punto nila.

Driver or owner, whether the other car with the dashcam should have gave way, whoever counterflowed is guilty of that initial/original sin.

Eto pampagulo: let's say the other car did give way to the counterflowing jaguar: counterflowing is a violation, and giving way essentially lets the driver get away with that violation. Di ba accessory to violation/crime yan? :D

Maybe the Jaguar driver is the bodyguard of the Ford Expedition. He got mad because his boss will reprimand him later for not sticking with the convoy.

No. The car was rented by a manpower agency and he was only tasked to pick up the car.

With his driving "skills", i doubt if he got left behind by the convoy.

Let us not mistake the trees for the forest. We all jump the gun here on an off tangent notion that— he drove a fancy car; he was Chinese; he was rich; he was powerful. But Joey Padiernos was not what we thought he really was. We bashed too soon. He was simply a man on the street who dreamed of, or had the illusion of, being somebody, not unlike Don Quixote De la Mancha. Had we known at the outset of who he was, would he get the same attention or flak he had been getting of late? Abuse or any of its kindred is not a character flaw peculiar only to the rich or powerful or to the Chinese or to those who drove and owned a fancy car— a man on the street could be that offensive too, or even much worse. Let Padiernos be a constant reminder to all of us to hold our horses, to refrain our verdict until all the facts are out, to contemplate before jumping unto the bandwagon. There is so much about life. It is not all about being rich or poor, good or bad, black or white. There are myriad shades of gray in everything in every corner in between. I said it then, and I would like to say it once again: This is a forum where we can freely express our opinion unshackled by fear of reprisal or slander because of the relative anonymity we all enjoy. But this freedom that we have is not a roving commission to disparage people who expressed their dissent against the majority opinion, or whose view of life strikes at the heart of our own sense and sensibility.
