Yup! I'm sure he'll get the same flak from tsikot members.

I don't think this entire thread ever really cared if he was just a random driver or some rich politico or driver of some rich politico.. etc.
ok ka rin sir, you pick your fights and ignore the rest. classic

I already had a feeling he was a driver. Whether he owns the car or he is a driver, I still think he is a douchebag. But he is a bigger douchebag for driving a car he does not own without "malasakit". Personally, I don't like driving other people's cars and when I do I take extra care than when driving my own car. I also don't think that all Chinese are rich. Money does not intimidate me, only artists intimidate me

Wow! Mali na naman tayong lahat. Pak syet, the jag driver counterflowed, he broke the law, period! Mahirap ba intindihin yun?

relax. that is not my point. I'm not saying you are wrong or anybody is. my point is this (and this is only my opinion): the knee-jerk reaction could not be that intense (considering that it happened few months back and came out only in the media recently) if he were only driving a dilapidated car, we had known beforehand that he was not the owner, and nobody came out from that white Innova as if that guy was his bodyguard. most of us was wrong in that respect. the media was just playing our emotion (to react violently). we were led on. why when it came out they did not say it happened in February. If it happened only in February most probably the media knew that that guy was only a driver (we call it investigative journalism). then why they were not forthright in the first place (by not telling us the real score). can't you see how powerful that establishment (the so-called fourth estate) change people's perception overnight. that's dangerous (they were able to insert a schism between the haves and the haves not by that 78 seconds video).

I think Jaguar PHL was forced to reveal ID and pass the pressure to Brightwhatever due to pressure from the giant client Globe.

Whether he's a chauffeur or the owner, it doesn't really matter. He violated a law and was dick enough to even cuss at the dashcam driver. He NEVER intended to follow the line, he was looking to beat it but the dashcam driver didn't give him way.

At the end of the day, nothing of this matters. Rich pricks will still violate laws - so we need more dashcams to shame them in public.

Sorry, didn't you assume that there was no malicious intent when the jaguar guy counterflowed? And does it matter if the guy is just a driver? Didn't he feel empowered when he drove that fancy car and used that power to gain an unfair advantage over other motorists? And how do you expect us to react to this incident? Fabricate elaborate excuses to justify this misconduct? Or just be lame and give way to every abusive driver on the road?

let's not mistake the trees for the forest. that's what separate men from the boys. you said something about "pride" the fact that we're interacting here is testament that I'm not using my pride. if you believe in something, you fight for what you believe in. there are always three sides of an argument-- your side, my side, and the right side. why? do you think all you read in the newspapers or saw on TV or read in the Internet are the unvarnished truth. now, if we cannot agree to disagree without being disagreeable we better not be talking. otherwise, everything will just be puerile.
