Never really found out why the car caught fire. Ironically, it did not burn. The driver was just trapped inside the cabin and died of smoke inhalation.
A CR-V also caught fire along the Quezon Avenue underpass after crashing into another vehicle. I believe no one was seriously injured in that one.
Antayin ko na lang sa TV Patrol ang balita kay Dodot. hehehe.

Smoke inhalation? Baka nga oil on headers siguro... poor guy... condolences ulit sa family niya...

Mas delikado ang mga bago? Hehe... depende sa design. Some newer cars are so tightly packaged (reference: CRV, oil filter, exhaust, fires in the US on the 2.4 model), that fires due to slight mistakes in packaging can happen. But then again, I'd rather be in a modern car in a crash than one without automatic fuel pump cut-offs or Ford Pinto-like fuel tank design.
Did I ever mention the time the transmission fell out of my aunt's old RWD Lancer? :hihihi:
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
