    Northbound Gil Puyat near Ayala Ave. intersection has recently gone some concrete re-blocking. Problem is the newly cemented lane seems to be an inch or more shorter than the old lane beside it. Did the contractor scrimp on cement or simple incompetence?

    Haven't seen it but maybe the "gap" is for heat expansion purposes?

    They might fill it in with tar or similar later.

    Hopefully. They've already taken down the barriers, you can feel the gap when you go over it in your car.
