So if you want meals, bring extra luggage, or choose where to sit, you have to have to pay extra for that because the cost incurred by the airline for that service wasn’t included in the price of your BASIC ticket.
LCC’s are typically a commuter bus with wings.
Hindi ako maarte, so for short hauls (4 to 3 hrs or less) I fly them a lot (Cebu Pac, Air Asia, Jetstar on ASEAN routes) (Spirit, Jetblue, Southwest sa US) (Ryanair in Europe). I save a lot of money that way. I use the long hauls with the full service carriers because of the “secure” connection of a single ticket if may stopovers (rather than separate ticketing) and the risks involved.
Yung drawback nga lang is marami ka nakaka-engwentro diyan yung tipong nakabiyahe lang minsan dahil sa mura na fare… naka-apak lang minsan ng paa sa ibang bansa… pero astang jet setter and entitled na kaya’t kung makareklamo, akala mo naman F (first class) or J (business) on a full service carrier binayaran.
Also, madami ding Pinoy abroad na FEELING minsan...
