October 5th, 2005 01:17 AM #4From what I heard, it's almost the same price of the car/SUV na ipapa-bulletproof mo. Aside from modifying the body and windows to absorb the bullets/shrapnels/explosions, AFAIK they also modify the vehicle's engine so that it can offset the excess weight added by the bulletproofing.

I was on a road near Hemady using our Civic a few weeks back (going to St. Lukes that time) at around 11pm then an old LC in front of me made a full stop.

I think these police "elite" commandos, tulad ng pagkaka-describe sa kanila sa dyaryo, should instead pick a fight with these criminals, instead of just being on the defensive side all the time.

I also lost my spare tire before in the Manila/Binondo area.
As much as possible, keep to the main roads where you can maintain a good speed.
I agree... our police should do more then being on the defensive... set up traps! Police visibility is also a big factor, if they spent time patrolling the streets instead of escorting those 4#%#*%#%#!%#!%#!%#!*%$!*# politikos then maybe we'll get somewhere.
