Guys,
I don't like having LTO stickers on my windshield so i don't usually put it even after newly registered. I have LTO stickers on my plate though. Ok ba 'tong practice na 'to?
Appreciate your comments.
thanks

AFAIK, oo. Na-flag down ako ng LTO nung 2000 dahil dyan. Akin naman, hindi ko muna dinikit kasi nagmamadali ako. Didn't get a ticket - the gentleman just made sure I stuck it on my windshield before he let me go.
actually bawal naman talaga eh. pero di ko talaga alam purpose neto except to riun your tint. hehehehe.
yung sa akin naman kasi, super dark yung harap kaya din rin kita. what i do is to have the sticker laminated first and stick it to my windshield using scotch tape.
in my experience ok lang kahit di nakakabit yan. personally di ko din dinidikit yung sa akin sa windshield and had no problems with it. as long as complete ang papers mo at may sticker ka naman sa plates ok na yon...
my usual excuse sa traffic enforcers "magpapatint ako eh" and works perfectly everytime...
I too prefer not to have that wretched LTO sticker on my windshield.
Pero...rules are rules... :-(
To protect my tint, I attach the sticker on a piece of DURASEAL bookcover/laminate (you can buy these from NBS). Afterwards, I attach the DURASEALed LTO sticker on my windshield. DURASEAL is very easy to remove, and won't damage your tint.
i've been driving around the metro without lto's sticker on my windshield for more than a year now. haven't been flagged down for that so far ... i just keep it in my glove compartment.
Sabi ko nabasag ang windshield. hehehe. Believable naman since magkaiba brand ng tint ko sa windshield vs the rest of the vehicle.

ako den ayaw ko ng may lto sticker... when i was flagged down i was just honest about it. Sabi ko panget tingnan. Since i have stickers on the license plates the police officer didn't make a big deal out of it. Siguro natapat ako sa mabait na pulis.
pero he reminded me bawal nga daw yun....![]()

My officemate's experience when she was flagged down for this: The enforcer stuck the sticker in her car's windshield himself, then let her go.

ako laminate and leave sa windshield.... hirap tanggalin kung naluma bad trip...
i got flagged down once because my LTO stickers were old and expired. Although I already had the new stickers with me, I simply forgot to put them on the plates & windshield. The police officer simply asked me to stick them on and after let me go on my way.
i guess bawal nga. pero di pa naman ako nasita in the last ten years. except, when i got my DMax. i didn't put the stickers on the plate so i got flagged down. pero nung kinabit ko na yung sa plates, ok na kahit wala sa windshield.
Have it laminated at National Bookstore, then iniipit lang yan sa windshield.
the prupose of that sticker is to prevent people from transferring their license plates from one vehicle to another. since the windshield sticker and the plate stickers have the same serial numbers then that IS THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN CHECK THAT THE LICENSE PLATEs ARE FOR THAT VEHICLE WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE OR/CR. so dapat talaga naka-stick yun sa windshield since pag na-stick na then it can no longer be removed without damage.
well, if you have a tint on your windshield then that's a problem you made yourself so don't blame the LTO if the tint gets ruined by the sticker. sabi nga ng tatay ko, buntot mo hila mo. kung ayaw mo ng hassle e di wag mo pahabain di ba.
I agree. I already have three stickers on my windshield (two LTO stickers and one insurance sticker), and I stuck them directly on my tint film.
I know I'll be worrying about removing them sooner or later, but better to be safe than sorry.

i saw sa concorde (by the cashier) meron silang plastic clip na may adhesive on one side and then you can just clip your LTO stickers. around P80 lang. palagay ko lang din madali tanggalin yun dikit nun adhesive compared to that of the LTO sticker.
ako nde ko rin kinakabit...nasa glove compartment, pero plano ko ring ilagay...pero nde ko alam kung kailan![]()
