Another question, once you have your OR/CR and the plates, should we expect the vehicle info to be available when doing a query via LTO's 2600 text hotline? or would it take months again for our vehicle info to be uploaded in their databases after the usual registration done by the dealership?

Depende, kun online naman yun kahit "satellite" office updated agad.

For my case kasi me tagalakad ako (with fee), then kapag naabot na sa akin mga papeles (+reg stickers) - checked with 2600 updated naman.

Dealer ang makupad. Ginawa ko sa akin - i pulled out my docs from the casa then go sa LTO Main and gave it to my friend who works there. Next day i got my plates. Scanned/photocopied the orig docs and surrendered to the casa/bank (installment kasi).

Sa dealer kasi my SA is a good friend, talked to his boss about my intent to pull out my cars' doc and ako na maglakad. Kasi nga ang bagal (gusto lan pala ng liason nila ng padulas). One reason i badly need my plates is that yun ending ng conduction stickers ko is the same with my other car AND sa republika ng makati ako dumadaan everyday (drop si mrs). Mahirap na. :D

In my case, I get "no info found". Nakakapagtaka tuloy lalo.

Skybison, I would have done the same thing kung may kaibigan din ako sa LTO haha lalo na't Im leery every time I talk to my SA and her boss.

I wonder if may naissue-han na ng plate na UZQ. Because right after that series, W-series will commence.

What's the newest plate you have seen so far?

Definitely. I can still remember the day I picked the car up. Turned 6 months last December 7.

Dealer ang unang culprit dyan eh... sinamantala na lang nila na may problem LTO ngayon kaya naaabswelto sila sa sisi. 9 mos na ko no plate when the year ends. If this is a kid, im gonna be a father na sana. :mad2:

Yup, same rizal plates but the letters are bolder and the plates are thinner.

I have a feeling na mag-fade yung color sa plates like the first X-series pag tumagal (hope not)

Here are my plates, notice that the letters are now bolder and the colors are darker

Wow! Congrats renzo for a nice plate, may I ask how much you paid for this kind of special combination?

Also to Tsikoters, what's the latest plate number you can see or know has already been issued? I still don't have plate, so I'm hoping maabutan ko na yung next series of plates (W-series).

Hi ano, the picture is edited.

But for special combinations like the one above, it will cost you 15T pesos.

Latest I have seen so far is UGI, if I remember correctly.

Don't know if may stickers na. Sa monday ko pa kunin sa dealer. Special plates yung sa akin. And sa pagkakaalam ko, sa LTO main mismo ginagawa ang mga special and vanity plates. Mga ordinary plates dun na sa contractor. Sana maganda quality pag special plates.

Got the plates of our altis purchased from Toyota BGC after almost 6 months. Got the plate mid december car was purchased end of june ata or first week of july. Complete with stickers.

OR/CR was given to us not long after we purchased the car, I think two weeks upon purchase meron na. What took a long time was the plate.
