car damage "caused by 17 yrs old driver - pls help"

heto ang current circumstance...
1. nabangga ako sa may passenger side causing damage to the 2 passenger doors (dapat isang door lang sana kaso umatras pa yung nakabangga na hindi kinabig pabalik yung manibela niya - galing siya sa tabi ng pedestrian x'ssing). ang drayber ng other car ay isang 17 yrs old na student permit lang ang hawak without any prof'l driver on his side.
2. habang nasa incident scene pa kami dumating yung aunt at nanay niya pati pulis at inilahad ko ang nangyari. walang problema sabi nila "sila ang bahala sa lahat ng repair cost". police report was prepared with a clause "both parties agreed to settle the case amicably" by having my car repaired and to be paid by the respondent.
3. repair cost was estimated at toyota baguio, they're a bit surprised on the amount - more than 50k kasi and TPL lang ang insurance nila. tinanong ako kung pwedeng gamitin ang compre namin, sabi ko ay OK lang but then looking back at the police report "sabi ko baka wala kayong makuha dahil sa clause na amicable settlement"
4. our insurance was well informed sa incident namin. medyo mahina yata ako sa emergency management technique

mga ser, i need your inputs kung ano ang pinakamagandang gawin. gusto ko rin silang tulungan dahil alam ko rin ang hirap ng buhay ngayon pero ayaw ko naman na mag fork-out sa sarili kong bulsa dahil hindi naman ako ang may fault. TIA

try to visit other reputable shops for an estimate.

pero pag malaki talaga ang damage sa door, its better to replace it na lang with surplus.

as much as possible wag kang pumayag na compre mo gagamitin kasi tataas premium mo for the next years. and may depreciation pa yan so compre will not pay for 100% of the cost of new parts.
unless of course you can pass this on to the one at fault. you have to make clear na di pwede participation at depreciation lang bayaran nya, dapat may extra for the succeeding increase in premiums.

there is no other way, sila magbayad talaga lahat...kahit saan kayo makaating..talo sila...bayaan mo na bayaran nila lahat, huwag mo na isipina na nakakaawa, hinde naman nila iniisip yun eh, naperwisyo ka nga eh....

tama si shadow, sila lang talaga magbabayad nyan, ung batang driver kasi nila ang may kasalanan...baka rin nagpapaawa effect lang un...

if they cant pay you then take their car sell it and pay for your damage.. not knowing is not an excuse to drive when your not license.. which is the case with a 17 year old without having someone with a non pro or pro license...

alam ko only professional-drivers licese holder lang pwede sumama sa student drivers... kaya nga ako i advice my wife na di ko siya pwede turuan ng actual at driving school na lang kami...

as for the incident: una mongisipin: wala sana abala kung inisip nila na baka makaabala siya... di mo kasalanan, kaya dapat bahala sila sa repairs ng sasakyan mo sa shop na alam mo magaling ang gawa, not on the shop na sila ang mamimili.

50K, wow laki nyan.why not find a good body repair shop para naman makamura kahit paano but if you will insist sa toyota and mukhang alang pambayad ng ganoong halaga yong other party mukhang maiistock muna car mo bro..anyways, ala silang laban dyan as per evidence, student lic without a prof driver assisting him when it happened.goodluck nalang bro.sakit sa ulo nyan

sorry to hear about your accident, bro.

i've had a collision estimate done by toyota baguio 5 years ago. their figure was 38k. i opted to have it done elsewhere and made a trip to apalit for the needed body parts. my total cost went down to 18k.

that's really the price they have to pay for being irresponsible. just let them know na wala ka ring magagawa but singilin sila kahit na naaawa ka.
