City driven vehicles have different settings or alignment as to highway driven vehicles.

My headlights are aimed for long driving highway roads, kalat paharap at medyo malayo. The only downside I see, pag lowered car yung nasa harap ko tutuok sa side view mirrors nya yung beam pattern. Same settings as with my foggies.

Walang uniform height ang mga sasakyan, how would you base it on the standard driver's line of sight? Different vehicle models and makes have different height advantage over the other.

Most taxi's I've seen have manipulated the oe headlight alignment, either nakatutok sa kasalubong or tutok naman na sobrang baba that their headlights works like a flashlight.

Auxilliary driving light users would also agree, that it really helps driving at night when it is turned on. The only solution I could think of right now is for those sensitive eyed drivers should avoid the streets past 6pm onwards.

I think what pajerokid means is the light these trucks/bus have which face towards the rear that blinds the car following in the same direction. So putting up fog lights like what mazdamazda said or increasing the wattage of your headlights will not offset these lights. In the first place, ang kalaban mo, bus o truck. So maski gaano ka bright ang ilaw mo, wa epek yan sa sinusundan mong truck literally because of the height or ground clearance of these trucks. Di sila masisilawan.
The principle behind these lights is to help the passengers embark/disembark as mentioned by pajerokid. Sa ibang truck naman, nakasetup yan facing the rear wheels of the truck. Purpose is to let the driver see if there are anyone near the rear wheels, so that maiwasan niya makasagasa ng tao, kotse, etc sa gabi. The PROBLEM is that some of these drivers, iba na ang sadya sa mga ilaw. Naghahanap ng away. Especially those jeeps, trucks, or cars that put mirrors at the rear bumper para pag nag hi beam ka, balik sa yo.

    hehehe.
    hehehe.

    yebo
    hehehe
