    goodyear servitek sa shaw dati.

    nung nagpapalit ako ng ball joints, bushings, shocks, tierods sa kumpare ko sabi nya pa align ko agad para di masira yung gulong, so on the way home sa shaw ako dumaan so sa Shaw servitek ako nagpaalign... sabi agad nung service adviser...sir check muna natin pang-ilalim baka may sira... ok inangat na l300 namin.... after the inspection nung S.A. he went on to list things recomemded for replacement kasi sira na daw... so sige lista sya... binaba na nung isang crew yung L300...

    pag tingin ko listahan lahat nung kakapalit lang eh nakalista... sabi ko ang dami naman sira... he said oo sir kasi kung di papalitan eh sayang alignment... so i-open the rear of the van and showed him the part na pinalitan nung kumpare ko... namutla ang mokong... told him ayos ka rin noh... kitang kita na ang kintab pa ng pyesa recomendation mo eh repalce lahat... kung ano ano na sagot... told him suki nyo pa naman ako sa gulong pero ako pa napili mong utuin...

    di na ako bumalik after that... told the cashier na kilala ako what the guy did... sabi nya rereport daw sa management. di ko alm kung ano nangyari after that

    Minsan kasi ung sistema ng rewards and compensation ang problema kaya harang ang mga talyer. Sa Zafra banawe used to work friend ko and admit naman nya may patong and/or commission ang mekaniko (not necessarily the mgmt) sa parts na bibilhin mo. Iyon lang daw pambawi nila kasi arawan sweldo nila pero kung maningil ang talyer bawat kilos ng mekaniko naka-bill sa customer.

Zafra sa muntinlupa beside shell gas station, nagpa align ako and camber. takteng mga unggoy yan harap harapang mang uto. computerized daw ang alignment at camber nila e nung isinalang na sa lifter and alignment device nila hindi naman gumagana yung monitor, as in black screen na wala kang makikita. i asked the mechanic paano mo maadjust e hindi pa naka on, ang sagot sa akin "sir kita ko na po, sanay na po kami dito" aba trying hard na manghuhula pala to. then after that naka ilang test drive yung head nila para sa alignment ng steering wheel, halos ma empty krudo ko. after that di na ko bumalik.

    I see what you mean. I guess i never noticed since what I used to do was to go to them for assessment then i'd buy the parts from my suking tindahans in Banawe.

    Yup, ganun na din ang ginagawa ko....i source the parts from different places, kung san pinakamura. I just have it installed sa kanila. I think that's the best practice.

    Ok naman sila except for their camber correction service. 1k di naman computerized. anyway, ingat mga tsikoteers...keep on sharing ur experiences para lahat tayo di maloko....

    ey guys. meron na ba sa inyo nagpagawa sa Top Gear? (malapit sa mariposa, can't recall the exact address pero lam ko pano makapunta dun). anywayz, i took my car in to have my crank pulley replaced (i supplied the parts). it was in ERL for a couple of days pero they couldn't pull out the stock pulley so they brought it to Top Gear. they had to modify their heavy duty puller para matanggal lang yung pulley...pero natanggal rin. the new pulley had to be baked a couple of times for it to fit...but it STILL didn't fit. after a closer inspection, they noticed na mas maliit yung butas ng new crank pulley sa stock pulley. so...pina-machine shop nila yung new pulley, baked it again, & voila, nakabit rin.

    magkano lahat? P11,500! gulat ako sobra...sobra sobra naman ata yon for labor. mga model ata gumawa ng auto ko eh :D hehehe

    don't go to AC PACLEB sa concepcion.

    i had my alignment done there and the tire rods fixed and boom! nasira ang shocks ko! orig pa naman yung mga yun! before ko dalin dun sobrang smooth ang ride ko and then after ma-align... boom! tumatalbog talbog na yung kotse ko na parang naka-hydraulics sa C5 nung papunta at pauwi ako. buti na lang walang naibang nasira. yung napakamurang alignment nila na P700 ay nag-cost sa akin ng P9000 para sa shocks. hanep talaga.

    and also, pina-check ko lang yung kain ng gulong ko sa RAPIDE a.tuazon sa marikina. ang estimate: P58,000 for the suspension bushing, the tire rods, and the rack end pinion. galeng 'no? i had the tire rods pushed elsewhere for P200. ingat sa mga shops na ito.

    Yung 924 na pinarestore ng cousin ko pinagpapalitan ang mga parts kasi Baguio based sya d sya makapunta sa PGA para bantayan. Nabagsakan kasi ng kabayo sa Wright park basag ang windshield kaya dun dinala. Red ung car naging yellow ung motor ng pop up headlights pati Firebraid high tension wires 2 natira sa 5 d pa pinalitan lahat nagtira pa badges kumupas ,Earl's stainless braided brake lines naging goma , injector nozzles ,electric fuel pump etc. Reason- nagpalit daw ng staff d nila alam sino kumuha.

    Alam kaya ng Rapide head office ang mga ginagawang kalokohan ng mga tao nila? Or baka utos ng management?

    I noticed that these scrupulous talyers are all famous and have many branches esp. Rapide.

    So baka dapat sa mga freelance mekaniko na lang tayo magpagawa hehe!

    Modesty aside Yes kasi akin sya dati before I sold it to my cousin 924 Carrera (944 front fenders round rear flares turbo look front and rear and Strosek kit cams weber big throat throttle body orig headers and Stebro resonator and muffler)look sya and was the fastest NA 924 in the 90's. Kayang iwanan yung 2.3 o 2.5 AMG 190e 16V. Kaka Miss sya.

    Anong klaseng excuse yan? Does not matter if they changed staff. The car was under their care for lack of a better word. As long as they have it and they are responsible for it.

    If you don't mind what happened did your cousin get compensation?

    Nope my cousin decided to pull the car out and sold in on an as is basis.
    Napatay pa yung service manager ng PGA(Dennis rip) nung anak ni Mike coyiuto sa highlands nung sumapok yung Audi quattro on a black Saturday 2 yrs ago. News blackout yun. Kaya ako never ako nagpapaservice sa casa

    Experienced ko lang mga tsikoteers. Last month nagloko rpm ng accord ko na matic tumataas bumababa at minsan namamatay makina. dinala ko sa Mega Motion sa Banawe ayoko na kasi sa casa dahil mahal anyway sabi ng mga mechanics sa mega motion eh throttle body cleaning plus tune up narin ng makina. I told them na ang budget ko ay hanggang 4 K lang. When i returned gulat na gulat ako at kasi nung iniwan ko yun car umaandar then pagbalik ko ayaw ng magstart nasira daw ung distributor assembly ko. Bad trip! pero pumayag narin ako bumili ng surplus sa kanila plus ung high tension cord ko pinalitan din nila sira din daw. wala na ako magawa kasi kalas na ung parts. i paid 9 K for the surplus na distributor assembly and 2500 for the hig ten wire. All in all nagastos ko ay 14500 kasama na ung tune up dun. Then i asked sa casa kung possible ba na masira ung distributor assembly during cleaning of throttle assembly natawa lang sila at sinabing boy lang ata gumawa and i also found out na ung distributor assembly na surplus cost only 4-5 K. Nagtry ulit ako magtanong sa mega motion ng price ng crankshaft pulley this time alam ko na ung price sa casa and its only 4100K trip lang na tinanong ko sa mega at nagtinginan muna ung mekaniko at cashier b4 they said sir its aroung 8500K daw. natawa lang ako sa kanila mga gagong pulubi un gusto kumita agad ng malaki kahit manloko. Iwas na lang mga tsikoteers paki post narin ung mga shops na experienced nyo na ganito para maiwasan natin.
