I was tailing a black Toyota Fortuner 3.0 D4d along EDSA today. The license plates read UNK555 under the tinted glass covers.
The license plates are also of the non-Rizal variety (Philippines 2000?).
Just got me wondering. Hindi ba Rizal plates na ang lahat ng plates nung lumabas ang Fortuner? And the plate series UNK came out in 1998 if I remember right.
Hmmmm...

February 25th, 2006 01:34 AM #7UNT is around '95 yata. Our UTA is a '96 eh.
Maybe iwas coding? Not necessarily installed today. Baka a few days ago, hindi pa lang nabalik.
Posible din na carnap, but I doubt it. No carnapper in their right mind would parade that thing around the metro with all the checkpoints sprouting about.
Pwede naman siguro na personalized plate, tapos painted to look like the old plates. Some people do not like the Rizal design. For all we know UNK could stand for his initials.
