Binangga trooper ko ng FX

Minor damage lang naman. No dents but a re-touch needs to be done. It happened just this morning sa marikina when the passenger of a white FX taxi suddenly opened the door wide while I passed by its right side. Actually nakita ko na na bumukas ang door so I honked my horn then slowly passed by the taxi's left side. I almost passed the obstacle when the stupid passenger fully swung the door open hitting my rear right fender and the tip of my rear right door.

Damn! The fact na nakalagpas na ako it was clearly the fault of the other party. Nung una medyo init ulo ko. Ang gusto kasi nung taxi driver is magtawagan nalang daw, but i'm not that stupid to agree to that. I took his drivers license and went to a nearby police station. Unfortunately they can't furnish a police report...blotter lang daw. So the official took both our infos and put them into writing.

Sheeeesh!!!! Wala na ako magawa. Gustuhin ko man singilin yung mokong na taxi driver, I think wala naman siya ibabayad. Siguro ipapasadiyos ko nalang thinking that the heavens will repay me for forgiving that stupid passenger and the taxi driver. Actually tama naman ang ginawa ng taxi driver for pulling over bago magbaba ng pasahero. Kaso yung mokong na pasahero sa maling side bumaba!

Questions lang po:
1. Matino naman kausap yung taxi driver eh...sobrang itinabi naman ang sasakyan bago magbaba (talagang masikip lang ang kalye kaya hindi mo halos maiiwas ang sasakyan mo). Kung kayo yun sisingilin ninyo pa ba ng participation? Naawa naman kasi ako..but at the same time I want justice para kahit papaano ay malaman kong may hustisya pa...(ang gulo ko ba?)

2. The tip of my door got stained with his white paint. Nung kinapa ko kanina, no signs of paint scratch naman pero I think the paint was stained deep. Ano ba ang pwede i-apply to remove this? How do I do it?

3. Mga 6-inches yung scraped paint sa rear fender (nasa 2-tone area). Do you think that the paintshop will quote me for the whole quarter panel or pwede touch up nalang?

if i were you, hayaan mo na. la naman talaga kasalanan yung driver. ganyan talaga dito....sagot mo na yung rwepaint nyan im sure.

D jerms pag paint transfer lang kaya ipolish yan. pa assess mo muna sa professional detailer bago papintura. Kahit anong angulo tignan mo mali yung taxi dapat sa right side ang bukas ng pinto di sa left side or driver side.

Dapat ang singilin mo yung nagbukas ng pinto na napaka careless. tsk. Pag nag f-fx ako dami ko na eencounter na ganyan wala pakialam kung pano bumaba.

In fairness sa mga taxi drivers, matigas talaga ulo ng ibang passengers. kaya nga minsan naka child safety yung left side passenger door dahil dami talaga pasaway na passengers.

minsan sa inis ko dati, dahil kamuntikan na ako, gusto ko ng hatakin sa pinakamalapit na welding shop, at ipa-weld yang left door, sama na driver side!

Tao naman kausap yung taxi driver eh kaya medyo naguiguilty ako singilin. Pero inisip ko na yun na installment nalang pero i'll still think about it. I mean 3,500 participation might be too much for him

Itinabi naman nung txi driver pero alam mo naman ang mga pinoy, di nag-iisip. Dun parin lumabas sa wrong side..hehe. Mukhang malabo ang polish nito. Siguro kaunting sanding muna pwede.

Yup, korek. Itinabi talaga ng mabuti nung taxi driver ang fx niya but unfortunately may pasaway siyang pasahero. Funny thing was ambilis naglaho ng pasahero. Deadma lang wala manlang sorry. Karma nalang siguro niya yun. Actually I feel sorry for the taxi driver din kasi nawalan siya ng 2 other pasahero na nainip sa kahihintay.

think of it, pagna-ningil ka.. mag=eexpect ka, pag dnila maibigay or nagkaron ng argument, ma-stress ka, sasakit ang ulo mo, hehhe!

on the other hand, mabibigyan ka ng hustiya(as u expected) and it will bear in the driver's mind to always assist their passengers since he is responsible for them.

buti na lang, maayos kausap yng FX driver kng nde sasabihin ko sayo, tuluyan mo na agad, hehe!

baka kaya pa yan ng polishing... it's amazing what rubbing compound can do
lalo na pag kasama ang high-speed buffer.

pero i would suggest, buy a sachet of 3M polishing compound muna (40 petot) and try to DIY it with a rag. you might be (pleasantly) surprised. one time nasayad ko yung fender ko against a post at pioneer highlands. ang laki nung paint transfer from the post. nawala naman lahat sa rubbing compount.

only if that doesn't work, dun mo na patingin sa detailer or paint shop.

Mabuti na nga lang din. At mabuti na lang din at hindi malaki ang damage. Nung marinig ko na may tumama inisip ko na kaagad na buong side scraped off. Buti nalang hindi naman.

Come to think of it, magaang ang loob ko ngayon. Hehe masarap din pala magpatawad paminsan minsan. Bata't maayos naman kausap at marunong umamin and humingi ng paumanhin talagang lalambot ang puso ng kapwa tao eh. Ang hirap kasi sa iba, sila na nga ang mali, sila pa ang mangangatwiran.

paint transfer lang, no dents? kaya yan ng scratch remover/rubbing compound. medyo tyagaan mo alisin yung paint ng fx with your finger nails (or plastic scrapper), careful ka lang wag mo idiin masyado or you'll scrath your own paint. then polish with scratch remover/rubbing compound.

ganun talaga sir djerms. minsan may mga fx riders na walang pakundangan na magbubukas ng pinto, swerte mo na lang kung hindi nila matamaan ka sa tabi. happened to me rin dati, stop naman dun sa papuntang megamall, tapat ng podium. yung pasahero as in todo bukas ng pinto, bam! dented yung driver's side door ng familia namin. gusto ko ngang bundulin na lang yung kumag na yun eh. buti na lang wala akong topak nung time na yun...when i snap, i snap real bad. :lol:

Fully covered naman ang trooper ko pero from my personal assessment mukhang kasing halaga lang ng participation 3,500 ang babayaran ko sa damage repair so IMO its not worth the hassle of claiming pa.

Sige sundin ko payo mo bro. Nung kinutkot ko ng nails kanina mukhang natatanggal at numinipis ang paint na humawa.

sorry to hear that bro. in fairness to the taxi driver, it's not his fault but should advise passengers to get off on the right side of the car. I almost had that same scenario happen to me last week, but it was the owner of the car who flew open his door and almost hit my car. If i would have hit his door, his door would have flew. Thanks god my angel was with me at that time.
ingats palagi tsikoteers..not only with drivers but with passengers as well. Let's always educate our friends who gets a ride with us to always get out on the right side away from moving vehicles.
