Beware of Toyota Fortuner AQL-222

On my way to work, it was the usual bumper to bumper traffic along V. Mapa St. Just before reaching the intersection of V. Mapa and N. Domingo, this Brown Toyota Fortuner AQL-222 suddenly swerves to my lane thus hitting my vehicle's fender and bumper with his Fortuner's tires. I felt my car move so i was sure my car was hit by the Fortuner. The Fortuner then speeds off so i gave chase honking my car's horn trying to catch his attention. He turned right towards SM Sta. Mesa and i caught up with him and managed to get him to open his passenger side window. I told him, "tinamaan mo ang kotse ko." I then blocked his car and went to him and said, "pare tinamaan mo kotse ko tapos tatakbuhan mo ako." He replied "Hindi ko napansin ah. Sorry. Buntis kasama ko eh." Seeing that the woman beside him was not even in labor but in school uniform, I barked, "wala akong pakialam kung buntis kasama mo. Walang kinalaman yan. Tumabi nalang tayo para makita mo ang tinamaan mo."
We then made a U turn and parked on the easement across SM Sta. Mesa. I then saw my shop's crew walking and asked him to call an MMDA officer to assist us. When the MMDA officer came, he asked for the guy's license. I gave him mine. He proceeded to take notes. After approximately 10 minutes, a white Hyundai Tucson then arrives to fetch the pregnant lady. The guy then walks to my car and looks at the damage then returns to his car. For more than 15 minutes, he stays in his car occasionally calling someone on his phone. The MMDA tried knocking on the guy's windows to ask him to speak to me but he simply gestures to the MMDA officer to wait then completely ignores us. Then a Toyota Land Cruiser PQS-777 arrives with the guy's brother and dad. The brother proceeds to my car and inspects the damage.

Brother: "Minor lang pala ang damage eh. Pwede naman natin i-rubbing yan. diba detailing kayo?"

Me: "Oo. pwede ko naman i-buff yan pero hindi ako sure kung kaya matanggal lahat. Kung after ko i-buff at may natira pa, paayos niyo nalang."

Brother: "Teka, eh walang marka yung sasakyan namin. Paano mo nasabing kotse namin ang tumama sa kotse mo?"

Me: "nasa tamang lane ako dahil didiretso ako. yung kapatid mo lumilipat ng lane ko kasi wrong lane siya. Umuga oto ko nung dumikit siya."

Brother: "Minor lang yan. Rubbing lang yan."

Me: "ok. Paano kung after ko i-buff at may marka pa? Sino magpapa ayos niyan? Nananahimik ako tapos mapapagastos ako? Sana bago mo masabing wala yan, makasiguro muna tayo."

Brother: "Kapag pina police report pa natin yan, hassle lang yan."

Me: "Hindi pera ang pinag uusapan dito. Prinsipyo. Ibubuff ko yung gasgas at kung marami pa ring marks, paayos niyo nalang. Hindi ako pintor kaya wala akong idea magkano aabutin yan kung sakaling ipapaayos. Dapat ang pintor ang kakausapin niyo. Hindi ko kailangan ang pera niyo. Kaya ko ipaayos ang kotse ko using my own money. Kahit palitan ko pa yang fender at bumper ko kaya ko. Pero bakit ako gagastos kung hindi ako ang nakasira?"

Father: "maliit na bagay lang yan. Magkano ba gusto mo? 500? Eh wala naman nakausli sa oto namin para tamaan kotse mo ah. Wala naman blue mark sa kotse namin ah. Paano mo nasabi na kami nakabangga sa iyo?"

Me: "Eh gulong niyo ang tumama kaya walang marka ng blue diyan. Kita naman na walang natuklap sa fender ko kaya wala talagang mapupuntang blue sa kotse niyo. Yung gulong ng kotse niyo naka liko kaya nakausli at tumama sa kotse ko. Umuga kotse ko nung dumikit kotse niyo. 3 lanes kami at wala akong ibang katabi."

Father: "Pera lang habol mo eh. tignan mo kotse ko (land cruiser 200), may mga gasgas rin. Maliliit lang yan kaya ok lang yan."

Me: "prerogative mo yan kasi kotse mo yan. Huwag mo akong didiktahan kung ano ang ok lang sa kotse ko. Hindi mo kotse yan kaya huwag mo akong sabihan na ok lang magasgas ang kotse ko."

Father: "Sabi mo gulong namin ang tumama. Kasalanan mo na yan. Hindi ka umiwas eh."

Me: "Ano? ayos ka rin ano. ngayon naging ako pa may kasalanan? Saan ako iilag? iaakyat ko sa bangketa. Tutal malabo kayo kausap, karma karma nalang yan. Pagdasal mo nalang na hindi tarantino ang mababangga mo sa susunod at saktan ka."

Father: "Huwag ka magsasalita ng ganyan. Mali yang sabihan mo kami ng karma."

Sensing they were just going to give me a hard time, i just let them be. No sense in further arguing with arrogant bastards who dont have common sense. I respect myself kaya hindi ako tumanggap kahit piso sa kanila. I just left the place with a scratched fender and bumper hoping karma will give them a nasty bitchslap

I'm chinese bro, but no offense taken! I believe kuripot talaga kami, but sana naman not to the extent of not owning up to mistakes and spewing out twisted alibis just to get out of responsibility.
