This started when my wife's office mate got her bill from SMART. She was surprised to see on the bill an additional amount of of 100 pesos for pasa load. Since on the statement the number it was sent out to won't appear, she called up customer service. From the csr agent she was able to get the number it was sent to. She called the number and a woman's voice answered the phone but immediately disconnected the call. She looked back at the date of the pasa load and tried to remember where she was on that day. And she remembered that she bought a phone at ELECTROWORLD MOA. And during that transaction she remembered that the female staff at ELECTROWORLD borrowed her sim card and tried it on the new phone for testing.
She called up ELECTROWORLD ond spoke to the OIC and asked if they had a staff with this phone number. The OIC confirmed that it was one of their staffs phone number. She told the OIC what happened. Then the OIC told her...
In my own opinion lang, kamote naman mag offer ng customer service yung OIC. Di man lang nag sorry sa customer. And second, surely that staff did this to other customers too. Kapal ng mukha mag pasa load 100 pa.
"Goodeve.

If you never use the service, your pin is a generic "1234". First order of business, really, when you have a new SIM or account, is to change that damn PIN.
