Brenda already proposed a similar scheme years ago. Another is to ban private vehicles during rush hours. USELESS PRESS RELEASES...!!!

September 30th, 2014 11:00 AM #13Pwedeng me problema tsikot ng kapit bahay mo..

100,000km ang break in period nun, 10 years or more. dream ko pa naman ang lc100!
instead of looking at a vehicle's age they should just implement the anti-smoke belching law and amend it so that if a vehicle is caught 3X then that vehicle's registration will be canceled and not renewed. may "strike 3 you're out policy" dapat. also if a vehicle is caught belching smoke then its registration must be suspended pending its passing an honest to goodness emission test, yun bang titignan talaga na walang remedyo na ginawa para lang pumasa (like mixing kerosene with the diesel). e kaso kahit naman na habitual offender dinadaan lang sa lagayan at kotongan e!
Last edited by yebo; September 30th, 2014 at 11:13 AM.

simple lang yan.. gawin nang LTO ang trabaho nila.. pag nagpa rehistro.. i check nila mabuti kung road worthy pa ang sasakyan.. pag hindi na kahit wala pang 15 years.. wag na nila i rehistro!

iniisip ko din... if they are going to do this, what is the essence of the smoke emission testing? and the motor vehicle inspection sa LTO?

Sakin ok lang, basta kailangan judge yung vehicles by its engine age and not registered date.
Dami makakalusot na jeep.
Mas ok pa nga 10 years lang... Banned na.
Pero in all reality, that would never pass.
see my pahabol statement above. i mean, i can go on vacation anytime. but my spouse has her...
