Bad motoring etiquette: What you hate the most.

You know what sucks? Kapag naka-bunggo sila parati nilang excuse yung "naghahanap buhay lang" or "wala nang pangkain anak ko" ...

So true this happened to me a decade ago.. The a-hole jeepney driver gave me this lame excuse.. I demanded him to give me all his earnings that day.

At that time i did not care if he had something to eat that evening. I did not care if his family starved that night. I did not care kung may gas sha ng jeep nya for the following day.

Yes that was a very a-hole move for me to do.. But then again these people must learn from the consequences of their actions.

Yesterday, in a heavy traffic situation at A.Bonifacio, some baboon driving an ill-maintained red Nissan Urvan snagged the entire side of my front bumper and a bit of my side mirror in an attempt to cut me off quickly and rudely to prevent me from merging.

Was about to go down but when I saw the idiot didn't even show any sign of stopping or caring, in addition to a mental note that I might just be talking to a horseturd of a Neanderthal who would probably scream at me and tell me I'm at fault, I hesitated.

My companion at that time, coincidentally, agreed with my thoughts, telling me just to report it as a hit-and-run since I would just be wasting my time, based on his experiences given the driver's behavior and the horrid state of the jerkwad's vehicle. Dagdag stress lang.

Just treat it daw as an unlucky incident, like getting bitten by a dog.

The imbecile didn't manage to get away quickly due to the slow traffic and I was able to get a shot of the back of his vehicle and his license plate.

Whether I'll run this through insurance or just leave it to karma, I'll decide after my usual paint shop gives me the verdict.

Kaya wag na lang magtaka ang may-ari, if ever he/she suddenly finds the car reported in a police blotter or an insurance company comes knocking to collect.

Sorry, but that's not bad etiquiette, that's your own fault.

He has the inside lane and therefore the right of way. Maybe he didn't go because he felt the other side of the road wasn't completely clear, maybe there was a car in front of him, maybe he just wasn't as fast as you at noticing the road was clear. Either way it's YOUR resposibility to look at where you are placing your car. Apparently your head check wasn't sufficent because you only checked one portion of the road and assumed it was 'all clear', when in fact it was not.

Mas nakakairita kung ikaw yung 2nd from the intersection. Pag nag green yung ilaw, biglang busina yung nasa likod mo, galit na galit. Tapos yung mokong sa harap mo, ambagal mag GO.

Over the weekend:

1. The usual fast lane hoggers on NLEX, running at 80kph.

2. Was waiting for a parking spot at the mall and when a guy was about to leave, a black Toyota Hilux runs in front of me to block me and lay his claim on the spot. I had to count to 30 not to lose my temper (I was asking for it by deciding to go to the Mall on Mother's day ba naman). I just drove on and saw another slot opened up immediately. Instant karma to the guy who blocked me as the car we were waiting on to move out really took his sweetest time (another irritant if you ask me).

As you guys know theres this part when the lane curves going to eastwood, there was this BRONZE CRV with plate number NOV-683 that suddenly goes to my lane while taking the curve. He did not use his side mirror or he didnt care that he was going to bump me! I was honking my horn because he was really gonna hit me, so i decided to step on the brakes and let him pass.

Damn these people!! And he had the nerve to swerve in and out of my lane taunting me?! Sorry sir I have a family to take care of and people like you would meet somebody who is as childish as you and you two could take each other's lives.

baka di ka nakita sir, off angle siguro ka sa side mirror nya and/or he was looking at his right the direction of curve so di na sya tumingin sa likod. newbie driver sya siguro at di marunong sa curve.

on topic: i hate it when i need to change lane and cant use my signal light kagad, lalo na sa edsa, using signal light means for most motorist na "harangan nyo yan, wag papasukin sa lane na to". what i do is usually wait for a gap and thats when i use the signal light at papasok. pag di naman nakakita ng gap diretso ko na lang kahit ma out of way ng konti, hayys.

rant lang, madalas kong napapansin nitong mga nakaraan araw sa SLEX e mga foreinger/foreign drivers yung mabibilis magptakbo/humarabas, obvious na ngang overspeeding yun ginagawa nila sa SLEX e, kanina lang, a Nissan Murano w/ no tints kaya nakita kong foreigner yung driver, ang tulin, I was cruisin' 100kph flat pero ang bilis ng dating niya at layo agad ng distansiya sa akin and he was driving like a snake, e, estimatedly mga 150kph yung takbo nun, at last week a Kia Sorento and a Ford F150 both driven by foreigners ang tutulin din kala mo mga sports car ang dina-drive, grabe kung maka-cut ng lanes.
