Kidding aside, when I was still in HS, nagbakasyon yung foster brother ko from Gonohe, Japan sa aming probinsiya for 2 weeks. Isinakay namin siya sa aming Yamaha dirt bike without a helmet. Hayun, hanggang sa Japan e tuwang-tuwa daw niyang ikinukwento yung experience nya.

From my limited understanding of Japanese, they appear to be in disbelief of how our policemen here behave compared to other countries.

japanese said "Are these guys really policemen?".
"they are more like bike goons" or something to that effect.
"I can't believe I'm seeing this! These guys aren't like police"
"That's dangerous, the way they ride"
    "These guys are strange"
just some of the things I could make out from what the japs were saying.

Just take a look at how those policemen bully the motorists. Very unprofessional.
No offence to any of the officers in the forum, but that is the truth.
There is no reason for the S movements of the bikes. Its really illogical and unprofessional if you observe.

Welcome to the Philippines you Japs! Enjoy our unique culture.

Ngayon lang yata nakatikim ng escort itong mga hinayupak na Hapon na 'to
    that's why tuwang-tuwa sila.

Lalo na nung nag-counterflow na you could tell sa hagikhikan nila that they were really thrilled.

Sarap talaga ng may escort. From airport to BSP-Vito Cruz nakuha ng 10 minutes lang!

    here's my literal translation:

    what the hell is this.
They can do anything they want?
    they are like biker gangs.
    Their driving is too carefree.
    these guys are unbelievable/absurd.
these are not policemen, they're biker gangs.
    that's dangerous.

add: these translations are for the first minutes.

It seems like one of the people in the car speaking in Japanese is a Filipino. maybe he's their translator. Why? because he doesn't have the native japanese accent. nakikipagtawanan pa nga yung kasama nilang pinoy.

I don't think these are VIPs as in diplomats or gov't representatives. more likely they are salarymen sent by private companies from Japan.

I didn't see any bullying made by the police escorts. Hindi naman nila pinupukpok yung mga cars para tumabi, just notice their hand signals when they ask motorists to either move to one side or to slow down.

If I may add, These guys are probably drunk. If you ever had the chance to seat beside a japanese salaryman in a bullet train or a plane, you'll probably see them drinking their sorry life away. They are slaves to their company, that's why outside of work they act "mababaw".

...they just cant believe their eyes that that is how the police escorts do their job.( parang bosozoku gang/ motorcycle riding gang)Sa Japan kasi ang ambulance at fire truck lang ang nakakagawa ng ganyan pero may loud speakers sila at sinasabi nila kung saan sila dadaan para makahinto ang mga ibang sasakyan to give way to the said vehicle. At kusang tumatabi at naghihintuan naman ang mga sasakyan.

Nothing wrong with the Jap's comments, based on the rough translations above. It's not everyday you get to drive with police escort. Syempre, it will be an experience to remember, going through traffic like that.

The weaving left and right of one of the officer is enough reason to laugh with them. Kala siguro nung officer nakakabilib yung ginagawa nya. Di niya alam na isang pagkakamali, high-side spill abutin nya.

Observe the video below. Maiinis ka ba sa comments nung mga nagtatawanan? That's absolutely the kind of reaction you'll get from people who's not accustomed to riding with an escort. Hindi naman pambabastos yan. Huwag masyado balat-sibuyas.

LOL. The officer just said "Ok" in a matter-of-fact voice like he was doing it on a daily basis. Haha! :D
