Siyempre I got stuck behind their slow *ssess. Buti na lang hindi na masyado malayo yung elliptical road. Pagdating naman dun, naiwan ulit sila. Labo noh. hehehe.

Yung motor lang naman ang mabilis diyan. Kita mo naman ang barumbado magpatakbo.
Exactly the same thing happened to me but on the opposite direction as they were coming from the elliptical road. That type of action is simply arrogance from people who should be serving us and whose salaries and equipment we pay for. The other reason that they believe they can get away from treating us like dirt is that we accept and tolerate that type of behavior.

Ang wierd kasi dun is I would have never even encountered the convoy if they just let me be. Kaso hot na hot yung naka-motor. Ang tagal ko ding naka-tanga. Akala ko nga funeral procession yung ineescortan sa sobrang tagal, eh. hehehe.

Btw, when you hear sirens you are supposed to clear the road. Not necessarily pull over and stop. There are other ways to give way.

Methinks you should have given them the leftmost lane (passing lane) instead of the rightmost lane, if you had really intended to let them pass. It's not like you're dealing with ordinary motorists in that situation; those are police escorts, with who-knows-how-many-bodyguards aboard the cars. They were using their sirens on official business (subjective nga lang ang definition nito). You yourself said that you heard them before they even got near, and you yourself said that you eventually ignored them. Nakipagmatigasan ka sa hagad, tapos ano ang napala mo? Kahit saan mo tignan, dehado ka talaga.

Let's just be thankful that they didn't take the time to actually harass you on the road. It could've been much worse.

Sorry, what i meant to say is i did give them the leftmost lane. i was on the 2nd lane to the left. What they wanted to do was to leave the entire portion of the road going to the underpass to themselves.

Who wouldn't ignore them? i was already in Quezon avenue when they were in Elliptical circle pa. Also, it wasn't a fire truck or an ambulance. It was a police convoy. Any policeman whether in a patrol car or a motorcycle routinely use their sirens to the point that there is no way to distinguish their intentions for using it. Are they using it to signal you to stop or give way? Are they on official business? Are they trying to apprenhend you for a violation? Are they part of a funeral convoy?

I wasn't trying to beat any traffic light or committed any violation. The road was clear and nothing would have happened if they let me pass.

Next time, just slow down and give way. That is the right action to take.
yep. they already did give you a signal... slow down na lang po at palagpasin sila (same with ambulance, fire trucks). kung di ka nila masaway...may dahilan po sila para gawin syo yung pag hampas o pagtapik sa oto nyo.

Arrogant police escorts in Quezon Avenue.
