I did read the whole post.

Those are Romai brand electric bicycles. Driven by an electric motor from a charge battery, when battery charge wears off, they have to pedal it to regain charge of the battery. The photo you shared is one of their Latest Model, it is already a trike as it look to me, because it has 3 wheel.

Like you, I am also concerned about it. Mostly I see who purchase these, truly doesn't know about road and traffic rules. Kadalasan makita ko pa nga dito sa amin na gumagamit nyan bukod sa mga under 18 age, ang karamihan pa ay Senior Citizen. At observe ko pa, hindi pa makatabi sa gilid ng kalsada kapag nananakbo, parang mga jeep, na kapag nanakbo at maghinto sa pagsakay ng pasahero nasa gitna ng lane, hindi gumigilid.

Totoo, parang mga kuliglig lang yan, na na-innovate lang, hindi fuel powered. Hindi narerehistro, walang lisensya kailangan. Kaya wala ka ngang habol sa kanila sa LTO kapag nasabitan ka nyan o nabangga ka nila.

Problema nga lang natin sa ngayon, Road hazard nga lang yan mga ganyan sa kalsada, na hindi naman hinuhuli o sisinisita ng mga enforcer na bawal yan sa mga roads. Alam naman natin na nasa batas na bawal sa mga roads ang mga hazardous vehicle. Kaya nga may mga sign pa tayo nakikita na bawal ang tricycle o pedicab mag ply along sa road. Kaya dapat i-include din yan mga ganyan.

I enjoy riding more than driving. But, I feel safer when I drive. Sadly, most riders I encounter seem not wary about safety. Ang bibilis magpatakbo naghahabolan para bagang iuuwi nung nauna ung kalsada.

Sa office namin may mga nagpapaikot ng sobre nanghihingi ng tulong. Pag binasa mo naaksidente nagmomotor sa kalsada. At pag narinig mo kwento nila lahat sila tama.

There is no destination too far that you have to compromise safety.

do you guys think the motorcyclist w/ the helmet cam is partly to blame for this car crash? i'm not sure if he recklessly instigated or dared the volkswagen driver to keep up w/ him when he overtook the jetta but the car did speed-up before someone unwisely pulled the handbrake (at least that's why i think the automobile decelerated abruptly)

My 2 cents

Most of those whose motorcycle riders who overtake during turns think that the streets are an extension of a Moto GP circuit. Little do they know that they can easily be squished once they get off balance or their tires slip. I have seen so many of these idiots crash and scratch their heads when confronted with the reality that the accident was their cause and their fault.

Its about time that a nationwide safety seminar be implemented so as all riders may be informed about the what to do and what not to do on the road.

BTW, I also ride a scooter to work everyday. And I do make it a point to get to work and come home in one piece. I pity my daughter and girlfriend who wait for me everytime I leave the house.

I think they deliberately want to piss off car drivers also. There was a time I was driving along Daang Hari on the left lane & travelling around 60 or more. A kid on a bike without a helmet came up beside me on my right & tried to overtake. Yun pala, he was planning to cut me off to enter the break in the center island. He quit when he noticed that I was not about to give into this "accident waiting to happen" thing. I've been driving for so long that I can already sense these things.

ano nga ba kaya? pero iyan mismo bro ang sales talk ng mga nagbebenta ng mga electric motors eh. kaya heto at naglipana tuloy kahit sa mga national roads ang mga iyan.

kalain mong magpayong habang nakamotor., dahil naulan. humangin, natuklap yung payong, na out balanced yung may dala ng motor. ayun, semplang.

Pag motor ang dala ko i never made it a habit na sumingit singit. pero napapansin ko mababait ang mga naka cage na nakakasabay ko kasi sila pa nagbibigay. ramdam mo naman pag gusto kang paunahin ng nasa palagid mo. sa tingin ko basta may disiplina at di ka garapal walang naman sigurong cager that will wish you harm. Maybe it helps on my part na bigbike gamit ko.

I still ride a motorcycle and a bike kaya medyo mahaba pasensya ko sa ganyan pero kahapon naubos na. So i was stuck in traffic dahil nagbuhol na yun mga sasakyan sa intersection. Meron motorcycle at biker na nag gigitgitan coming from behind at lumusot sila sa kanan ko. So being stuck in traffic no choice ako but to put my car sa neutral. Yun dalawa eh nagsisingitan and medyo dumidikit na yun biker sa passenger door ko. I honked my horn dahil tatama na si biker pero dedma lang si biker and ayun tumama na. So para wala na usapan tinignan ko na lang si biker. Ni hindi ko chineck kung may tama yun oto. And this biker had the balls to go down, kalampagin yun hood ko and claiming na binangga ko siya! Wtf! Nakahinto ako all the while na nakikipag-gitgitan siya dun sa motorsiklo! And feeling ko may kakilala sa munisipyo dahil malakas ang loob na dadalhin daw ako. Kinukutsaba pa yun enforcer.... my god! Sasabihin nila na talo ako dahil may makina yun akin! Eh kitang-kita naman na yun binti niya ang kumayod sa gulong ko basing from the marks ng tireblack eh downward or upward yun mark. Definitely indicates na naka full stop ako at siya yun kumiskis....

Puwede bang kahit sa mga secondary roads ay bigyan lang sila ng isang linya kung saan puwede silang magkarambola (ng sila-sila lang)???

Aba e,- double counterflow na ang ginagawa ng mga mokong kaya hindi makausad ng maayos ang trapiko....

Tapos,- sa mga intersections,- sila lang ang nakakalusot,- mga 5 regular vehicles lang ang nakakalusot sa isang green light cycle- dahil nakabalandra sila lahat sa unahan at singit nang singit,- kaya hindi makaabante ng maayos ang mga sasakyan....

Lols! Never crossed my mind. Buti nga walang gasgas oto. Expected ko na before pa ko mabangga ni tatang na magpapagawa na naman ako. Ok na nga yun, ang problema pa eh paaakuin nya ako sa kasalanan na hindi ko naman ginawa.....
