I'm a motorcycle rider and a driver of a cage as well. I prefer riding the motorcycle especially if I'm just alone. Been riding motorized two wheels since I got my driving license.

First, let me apologize for the unruly and undisciplined riders. Kahit ako naiinis sa kanila sa kalsada. I always try to follow road rules and be courteous to other road users. Singit dito singit doon. Meron parang nasa race track kala mo maubusan ng kalsada.meron Meron todo counterflow. Tapos mga ilaw di standard. Meron ba naman break light puti tapos headlight asul. Pinaka ayoko yung bomba ng bomba ng selinyador. Especially small bikes who want to feel na mga supervise riders sila. Ang iingay mga ksp. Nakakabulabog lalo na pag nasa bahay ka.

I can't blame you for hating them. Minsan yung mga naaaksidente na pinapakita sa TV, they were asking for it. Minsan kasalanan nila talaga. That's Darwin's survival of the fittest.

I always try to learn and share the road. Especially with pedestrians and bike riders.

What I fear is because of the entry of China motorcycles, sobrang dali na kumuha ng motor. Kahit mga di marunong sa kalsada, pwede mag ka motor for a small amount of money. I fear in 5 years time para na tayong Vietnam or Indonesia.

One more thing, after the proliferation of irresponsible motorcycle riders, meron pang Isang dapat bantayan ; mga gumagamit ng electric motorcycle. No need ng lisensya pero poses as a hazard to other road users.

Those are not motorcycle sir. Those are electric bicycle.
Itinuturing nilang motor vehicle, which is not.

Simply in the form galing sa electric chair, use the electric motor in the frame of a bicycle wheel.

it has to be a gas-powered engine with minimum displacement of xxx cc, to legally be a "motor vehicle" and subject to licensing, etc.
but it does not detract from the observation that some of their riders are "irresponsible", just like the bicycle and the tricycle (di-motor o di-beachwalk) we see along national roads, in the fast lane pa man din!
i think it is time for government to rein these in by updating road laws and proper enforcement.

Agree with you. Enforcement lang naman ang kailangan. Motorized yan (whether electric or fuel power) , may drivers license pa rin dapat sa ganyan.

Sir please read the whole post.

I didn't refer the photo as regular fuel fed motorcycles but as electric motorcycles. If you want to be specific and technical about it, the one posted above can not be an electric bicycle. To be classified as an electric bicycle, properly know as pedelec, it should have working pedals.

Anyway back to topic. I was just warning everyone that aside from irresponsible motorcycle riders, we should be wary also of the electric motorcycles becoming popular. I've seen these used even by those below 18 who doesn't know any road rules lest obtain a proper license.

Technically they are not under the LTO. And no licensing nor registration is required. These are no different than those "kuliglig" plying manila roads especially in divisoria / binondo area with a Frankenstein motor.

I did read the whole post.

Those are Romai brand electric bicycles. Driven by an electric motor from a charge battery, when battery charge wears off, they have to pedal it to regain charge of the battery. The photo you shared is one of their Latest Model, it is already a trike as it look to me, because it has 3 wheel.

Like you, I am also concerned about it. Mostly I see who purchase these, truly doesn't know about road and traffic rules.

at kapag na-bangga, sino sisitahin? e, 'di yung may lisensiya!
