Yup. When the truck is fully loaded, even the regular brakes have a hard time.

If the driver drives consistently fast and has to brake hard whenever he gets to congestion, he can quite quickly overheat the brakes and cause brake failure.

Truck brakes work best when they're cool. After the first heavy stop, the truck will take a few meters more to stop. After the second... a few more... pretty soon, the truck will hardly stop at all...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

yep! and that is why some truck drivers drive very slow when they are fully loaded.

How will you know when the brakes will fail? How do you maintain the brake system? Di naman malalaman di ba if biglang may magleak sa brake line?

They can also look at footages from other cameras to see how the truck was driving prior to the accident as well.

Yes tama ka boybi, used to have dump trucks and you will never know if when they will fail, just like in our regular cars we will never know when the brakes will fail. I have been witness to some of our customers when we change the tires I usually look at the brake pads, to be honest more than 50% of the vehicles have pads that need replacement already, and guess what the owner is usually clueless. All Japanese 10-wheeler trucks have a dual brake or hydrovac system, the brake lines are separate from each other so that if 1 fails there is still braking power available. 1st systemy stops the front tires and last axle, the 2nd system stops the middle axle. Also most brake failure of trucks occur when they slam the brakes suddenly, because the system is air fed or air/fluid the pressure is too strong when they slam the brakes the rubber cups give way due to the strong pressure. Sino bang truck owner gustong ma ka aksidente ang truck nila?

If it's a leak, on rubber lines, it's slow, and checking the fluid reservoir every trip should be enough. Also, you'll notice the pedal getting softer and softer and softer...

All truck drivers should drive slowly when they are fully loaded. Not like they are driving 20-ton Ferraris.

Narinig ko kanina sa radyo na laya na yung driver at walang nagsampa ng kaso kasi inareglo naman ng kumpanya yung mga biktima.
