Freedom of expression. To the owner of these cars, maaring iniisip nila na maganda yung dating ng kotse nila with all the borloloys na kinabit nila. We all have different tastes, lets not ridicule/make fun of another mans possession just because it did not meet our standards. Pero I dont think this would be possible, in a perfect world, maybe.

Anecdote:

One of my officemates has a friend, let's name him Ed, who used to work for a bank. One time, may dumating na mga foreign visitors si Ed as part of his work, one of them being an African-American businessman. So sinamahan ni Ed yung mga bisita around Manila. Napansin nung Afro businessman yung mga jeepney, may nakakabit na mga spring-loaded iron chickens sa harapan ng radiator (this was sometime in the '80s).

Tinanong daw si Ed nung businessman kung saan makakabili ng ornament na yun, ikakabit daw niya sa Rolls-Royce limo niya sa States. Hindi niya malaman kung nagbibiro lang yung tao. The last thing Ed saw before the businessman left, may bitbit ngang dalawang iron chickens na binili somewhere, kaya niya nalamang seryoso pala talaga yung egoy.

When I get lucky enough to get to the States someday, I'm going to look for that Rolls-Royce. :lol:

We all have different tastes, lets not ridicule/make fun of another mans possession just because it did not meet our standards.

I don't know about you, but my personal standards are pretty easy to attain: keep it simple, keep it clean, keep it stock. The occasional spoiler, mags and ground effects kits, I can still appreciate (I draw the line at wheel spinners and underchassis lights, BTW).

But the examples given here have, in all honesty, far exceeded my standards to ridiculous levels. :D And then there are worse forms of accessorizing that are not only eyesores, but also endanger other motorists on the road.

If someone insists on making an utter fool of himself and his car, then it's only fair that the world lets him know whether or not he's doing a very good job at it.

hehehe and daming ganyan dito sa pinas because of the jeepney! Lahat ng accessories na available basta may perang pambili ikakabit ng owner. Di nya naiintindihan kung para saan yung mga pinagkakabit niya. HAHAHA

and sometimes most private vehicles na nagkakabit ng stickers ng tv networks for that matter ay di talaga connected sa network. Karamihan ng mga yun hiningi lang ung sticker at ikinabit sa ride niya...

exactly...does he really need two wings and a diffuser? anyway, baka naman plano nya is kinda like "reverse sleeper effect", for us to think that all that stuff are garbage but actually are functional, so the next time we line up against him, he'll blow by us. heck, the hood scoop and TMIC look scary.
